Google is the #1 search engine but not the only one

We are still free to choose another provider and there is nothiing the leftists can do to stop that

But the trend is to control speech in America, the UK, Canada and Europe using government and private companies

And the targets of suppression are conservatives

This is true, the big internet companies ought to be effectively and verifiably neutral, they clearly aren’t and evidently don’t think they need to be.

 

Because they aren't censoring. It is their search engine. They have always had policies on what sorts of results they are willing to show.

Social Media sites/companies generally don't tolerate extremism. They "censor" ISIS and the like as well. They don't care whether you're liberal or conservative, as every intelligent and reasonable person will easily recognize.

 

Anyone can say anything they like at any time, anywhere. The only considerations are desire and consequences.

You're free to write about a plan to assassinate Trump but it's illegal and you'll get your nuts squeezed. A German likewise can nazi salute in public but they'll probably be arrested because it's illegal, and being efficient Germans that's probably when the moron's arm is about half way up their chest for the first time. You both do not enjoy full freedom of speech.

 

I think alt-right websites are ranked too high in search results and it would not be too problematic, if these sites are less visible on Google. There would be less traffic without infringing on their free speech rights.

I really want to know who is writing dangerous crap on the internet so that the NSA or any other agency monitoring can have a heads up. SPLC has a brief description of the group, but when you search for some their own descriptions are very different. There are 917 of these “hate groups” on the SPLC map, find one near you and let us know if you ever heard of it before, have any friends or neighbors who know of it.

As a conservative Catholic I was intrigued by their hate category "Radical Traditionalist Catholics" which according to SPLC:
