    What's odd is that although this guy was promoted by Bannon, Trump was promoting his opponent and Trumpers are sticking with the Bannon guy.

    I think they think Bannon is actually the Prez

    I'm not even making a moral judgement of "him". I'm making a moral judgement of those who reject so much as the investigation, and unceremoniously disparage the victim's allegations.. All because of blind partisanship. It's truly disgusting!

    this is when I make a very politically incorrect point, but I am obliged to remind everyone that justice does in effect have a 'best used by ' date if not an expiration date. There are very good reasons for statutes of limitations both in criminal and civil law. The evidence trail is not just cold, its frozen tundra. The memories of what was said, what was done and in what order, are faded and obscured with memories we recreated and re-structured for our own psychological reasons. , the witnesses long gone, or dead or sick, and the documentation incomplete or destroyed or lost. Alibies are almost impossible and a ton of new agendas, and motives, color what witnesses, victims and possible perpetrators do; with renewed interest with old facts.

    Not saying that these stories do not deserve to be told, and potential crimes exposed and tried, but we have to be very very careful before we ask the accused to defend themselves criminally or civilly against charges that are over a decade old.

    Even if the allgeations are true, that wouldn't make him a pedophile.

    Sorry to have to tell you this, but finding teenage girls sexually attractive is pretty much par for the human guy course. If you can pass a high school without seeing something that makes you wish you were a young man again, then something is wrong.

    If you don't understand the problem by reading the post you are responding to, you have much deeper problems than I thought.

    That would mean you see no problem electing a pedophile to the U.S. Senate who is a pedophile, so long as they have an "R" next to their name. And the implications of that are quite disturbing.
