You aren’t supposed to eat the chicken livers, you are supposed to use them for catfish bait and eat the catfish.

all of the good gut bacteria is destroyed by processed foods, tzatziki is one of the few digestible condiments left for most people recovering because it has its own bacteria.

The Puritans who fled to Rhode Island, Boston or the wilderness made out a lot better.
Giving the double barreled finger to City Hall (Plymouth) was the smart move.
Americans fought or fled city hall a lot. God bless them. :)

Lamb, pork, and herbs. Don't forget the pork. It's in there too.

Greeks actually eat more goat than lamb. I'm surprised there isn't goat meat in it as well.

    Good job !!

As you can see the suicide rate is quite high.

Now if you google for a car crash comparison you will see there are more suicides than car crash deaths.

Keep going you're close. Don't quit now !!

After 52 years I could write a book too. But it would have to go into the graphic novels section of Barnes & Noble.

All starting when I was 12. Homerun at the age of 12 !! Imagine that.

For me it's my Saturday. Tomorrow is my Sunday. I report for my shift at 12 midnight tomorrow. Then solid work every day until next Monday my next day off.

Tonight I'll go to a local bar and play in a local poker tournament.

I'll have a few beers too. And then Coca Cola to stay alert.

I do most of my boose-ing at home now with moonshine and wine mixed together. The moonshine fortifies the wine.

There is a lot (note: lot is singular and takes a singular verb) of germs in sushi.

That's why when you eat sushi you always get the runs the next day.

All those germs attack your intestine wall and your body has to flush them out with diarrhea !!

    :D

Cant say I've had much greek food. When I was a kid, there was a big greek restaurant called The Torch where i had stuffed grape leaves and souflaki? (Rumor was, they hosted mafia gatherings) Tried a gyro (giro?) once, didnt care for it. Like their salads... esp the olives. :knifefork:

The olives are good on or in almost anything.

Greek meatloaf is great with olives in it.

    So is Greek bread.

Souvlaki is like Greek lasagna with lots of ground lamb in it.

Usually has noodles baked into it too.

Have not had any in a long while.

Greek food isnt big in Texas. Learned something interesting researching why... seems Greeks came to Texas mostly as single men, to big cities where they found work. The first Greek community was in Galveston where 32 lived in one area.

    Thanks, Id love one.

I haven't found any Greek restaurants in Texas, but confess I haven't looked very hard. As a "road warrior", I've traveled up north quite a bit. There used to be a great sandwich shop inside O'Hare airport which served gyros, but the best was a restaurant in Madison, WI called Parthenon Gyros. Terrific sandwiches, frickin' huge.

Speaking of O'Hare airport, even though it's a total cluster f**k to travel through (avoid it if you can), it's named after LCDR Edward "Butch" O'Hare, the Navy's first ace and a Medal of Honor recipient. He was killed in action at age 29.

Speaking of Chicago and people like Al Capone, I grew up as a huge Paul Harvey fan and loved his "And now you know the rest of the story" radio shows and books. Here's one you might like: https://desertskys.wordpress.com/2013/02/07/and-now-you-know-the-rest-of-the-story/

Spam or that? Add the Spam to the liver stuffing - could not make it any worse.
