according to the law of space dynamics, the moon must hover over an equal yet competing force. this is expressly why time allows for greater accumulation of wealth, since space is far older than earth and it governs time.

this can only be done on a flat plane, so everything we were taught about a 'round' earth was fake.

bless your heart, but if the money is invested in a Roth IRA it is carried on to heaven as reward for a protestant work ethic.

My wife ran into a flat-earther conspiracy theorist the other day.

How do you explain seeing the top of a ship first before the hull as it approaches from a distance? How do you explain flying high in an aircraft and seeing the horizon curves? Or that, on a clear day, things in the distance can't be seen until rounding over the curve?

Which is exactly the main motivation for me knowing so much about astronomy; it was great way to persuade a girl to go out onto the dark plains of eastern Colorado with wine and a blanket to watch constellations, satellites and the occasional meteor.

    Poor girl -- very dangerous.

You could be/have been a serial killer.

Some people live in fear all their lives. Others embrace the joy of life.....even if she could have been a serial killer. ;)

People do crazy things for romance.

Some of them die as a result.

There are about 50 serial killers at work in the U.S.A. at any given time per the FBI statistics.

Females are their primary target although some like Dahmer target juvenile males.

This is exactly what my cat does too when I try to put him on a harness and leash.

The only thing the harness and leash are good for is keeping him in the car on cross country trips.

320,000,000 Americans. About 32,000,000 of them are 18-24 years. Odds of becoming a victim of a serial killer? .00039%
Odds of dying in a car accident? 0.110%, 282 times greater than the serial killer.

    https://www.iii.org/fact-statistic/facts-statistics-mortality-risk

For some reason, people tend to fear things like serial killers and dying in plane crash than what will really kill them: Eating a McDonald's hamburger while driving.

    http://www.healthguidance.org/entry...ss-Why-Do-We-Fear-the-Things-We-Shouldnt.html
...As a species, possibly a lingering carryover from our primitive "fight or flight" response, we tend to overreact to dangers we perceive as immediate, and ignore more important dangers that affect us over a longer period of time. Thus the temptation to eat that extra cupcake after dinner – even though we are already obese or getting close to it – is not perceived as a danger to our health, even though obesity is statistically more of a danger to our health than, say, our risk of contracting the latest pandemic flu. Dangers that build up over time, and have cumulative effects, somehow don't seem to register in our brains as actual dangers.

We also tend to indulge in "risk substitution." We order a diet soda when eating out, and feel that this enables us to order an awesomely fattening dessert after dinner. We also tend to substitute risks that we worry about for others that actually pose far greater risks. For example, we worry about our kids being possibly exposed to marijuana, which has never caused a death by overdose, but don't worry about them becoming involved in organized school sports, which are responsible for tens of thousands of injuries and dozens of deaths every year.

We fear exposure to radiation when reading about possible fallout from the Fukushima nuclear reactor accident in Japan, but have no qualms about sunbathing, which has killed more people who contracted skin cancer than have died from all the nuclear accidents in history....

I lived thru 2 years of meeting guys thru match.com and didnt meet a single serial killer. Think you have to sign up on Tinder to find yourself an axe murderer.

Got this look down pat, though.

Match-dot-com is as good as anyplace to hook-up.

But where you then go is a much more critical issue.

Make your meet-up location someplace very public where someone there can rescue you if need be.

A popular bar with lots of people is best. That way if you scream there will be lots of guys and a bouncer and a bartender to come to your aid.

After that, your place is safer for you, although their place is safer for them. May want to compromise and pick a popular hotel instead.

Eventually you will need to do a background check on a total stranger. Otherwise you might hook a serial killer.

You are most likely to be killed by suicide in the USA.

In second place is a car accident.

Gyro meat is very good on a salad w/o the pita. With pita it is among my favorite things, along with saganaki, moussaka, and tiropita.

Good Greek food is hard to beat.

After 2 years, I could write a book. In fact, I saved all their pics for that very reason. ;)

I sort of put the salad on top of the gyro meat by slicing the Roma tomatoes really thin and piling them and the avocado on top.

Had it for lunch again today. Finished off the gyros. They were really good !!

Oh dude. That's sad that 1) you are so inconsiderate as to use that "google it yourself" argument and 2) backpedal from your initial statement: ''You are most likely to be killed by suicide in the USA." The latter is a flawed argument since car accidents, by definition are "accidents", unintentional deaths among the general population who drive/ride cars or are near cars. Suicide is an intentional act and, therefore, falls into a specific subcategory of people who would deliberately do this to themselves.

In my particular case, I'm much more likely to be killed in a car accident than commit suicide. Ergo, your comment "You are most likely to be killed by suicide in the USA" is wrong.

And tzatziki is good on almost anything.

I knew a Greek butcher in St Louis that made gyros from scratch for his deli.
It was very labor intensive even with power grinders. He would not sell his blend of lamb and herbs to restaurants. Said it was too much trouble for anyone but his own customers.

    how do i explain it?

well it begins with the puritans, they founded, built, and made America great based on the protestant work ethic. it consisted of 6 days of slave labor and 1 day of rest. they consented to slavery as part of a grand bargain with the rich of their time in exchange for religious freedom, because they believed their reward or compensation for these labors would be at a later time in heaven.

in order to make America great again we must adopt the old ways of thinking and living, only then will you understand why the earth is really flat.
