Seems Trump people totally disregarded Trump's tweets this morning

While all eyes were set on the "hush, hush, push, push" largely unpopular Republican tax bill, Trump folk seemed to either not see or not care over the inexcusable, vicious tweets toward Muslims, retweeted from a fringe British nationalist site (remember how I warned about nationalism) called Britain First. What makes these retweeted tweets more ridiculous is the person who originally generated the material, Jayda Fransen, has been convicted of a hate crime. Later today, the White House came out in defense of the inexcusable, vicious tweets that can only be deemed xenophobic with Sarah Huckabee Sanders stating:

"The threat is real," Sanders' response to whether the inflammatory videos are real or not.

Sanders further justified the seemingly tasteless videos as bolstering national security and secure the nations borders following up with the statement, "Those are very real things. There is nothing fake about that."

The British government, in its entirely, has condemned the videos. There has been condemnation all over the country. Furthermore, there is word Trump is trying to ramp up old school, debunked conspiracy theories such as Obama not being born in America. Why are Trump supporters giving this behavior a pass? Is Fox not reporting it? Are Trump's fringe supporters so obsessed with nationalism, this reflects their not-so-closeted views?

I warned about being a supporter of nationalism, for ugly things that can transpire like these, I can't help but say I told you so.

 

So, no Trump supporter on this board opposes these distasteful tweets?

Please don't be offended next time Kathy Griffin depicts a beheading, if you will simply dismiss the obscenity Trump depicts toward Muslims.

 

My view on Twitter is that it is for twits. So I don't read any tweets.

Seeing people lose their marbles over something as pointless as social media makes me fear our culture is lost. Is this the kind of garbage people spend their time doing?

Well that's it fellow nationalists. I just remembered how Balto from political forum.com warned about nationalism. I almost forgot that he warned about it but now that I remembered I guess we should all just become neo-marxist internationalists.

All three videos were originally posted to Twitter by Jayda Fransen, deputy leader of the far-right, ultranationalist group Britain First. She was found guilty last year of religiously aggravated harassment of a Muslim woman.

Drumpf continues to lower the bar of acceptable behavior by a prez. But by far the most insidious aspect of this display of senseless bigotry is the approval it is receiving from the minions. We've come to expect Sarah's despicable excusing of anything Captain Chaos does. That what she is paid for. More problematic for the country going forward is the reflexive cheering among Don's loyal followers who never, EVER, find reason to question his judgement........in this case for re-tweeting a white nationalist's video.

 

There is actually not much new about this. That Trump is a liar and that Trump is a racist and that Trump loves to tweet fake racist propaganda are all established fact. It is a bit "new" that our allies are now complaining about it. And this does write one more article of impeachment for violation of his oath of office. Plus, it gives Pence one more argument (as if he needed more) to invoke the 25th Amendment whenever he wants.

But it is one more indication of how Trump and his followers are rapidly shifting away from reality into some sort of psycho-world. And that's dangerous.

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ), a vocal Trump critic, simply called the retweets “highly inappropriate.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) told MSNBC that while he believes Trump was trying to highlight the threat of terrorism, the decision to retweet the videos was “not helpful.”

“To me the effect is that you’re taking a fringe element in British society and giving it the presidential seal. And David Duke was happy with it. So anything that makes David Duke happy is probably a bad day,” Graham said.

Asked again about the retweets, Graham said that retweeting the anti-Muslim videos “empowers fringe elements on the right who have been associated with religious bigotry.”

“And the last thing you want to do in this war is make it about the religion itself. Radical Islam is the enemy. Most people in the faith are the key to winning this war,” he said.

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-NE) suggested to Bloomberg News’ Sahil Kapur that Trump should not have supported videos from the leader of the far-right group Britain First.

“Britain First seeks to divide communities through their use of hateful narratives which peddle lies and stoke tensions,” a spokesman for British Prime Minister Theresa May said in a statement. “They cause anxiety to law-abiding people. British people overwhelmingly reject the prejudiced rhetoric of the far right.”

Ok so it was 3 videos that NBC said it couldnt verify. That doesnt make them anti muslim or racist.

Couldn't care less about Graham. He needs to be sent home for good.

Sasse is entitled to whatever opinion he has. Doesn't move my needle.

I see how this works. If you say the videos aren't really awful, they are just labeled as such by the PC, and I quote conservatives who say Don was way off base re-tweeting them in part because they came from a British white nationalist (and they were awful), then real conservatives magically become part of the fictitious PC. Or at least one of them. Only you know which one. You are one complicated guy.

 

There is nothing wrong with Britain First political party. They are not a racist or a fascist party. More fake news from the MSM. And now we are supposed to be offended that 3 videos portray Muslims doing what Muslims do were retweeted? So what? Did the Muslims throw someone off a roof? Yes. Did the Muslims break a statue of the Virgin Mary? Yes. Did a young Muslim beat a youth on crutches? Well they claim that is not an immigrant, but is he a Muslim? Not sure.

What did Trump say about Obama lately regarding his birthplace? Not that it matters now, but seriously, whether he was born in Hawaii or Kenya, his fake birth certificate is questionable. Now if people have doubts, blame Obama himself for having a book cover that said he was born in Kenya or his wife for calling Kenya Obama's "homeland".

And what is this hate crime? Criticizing Muslims? That shouldn't be a hate crime. The British government should condemn the videos, as I do. I condemn the videos and the Muslims in them committing acts of violence and hate.

 

One of them claimed to show an immigrant Muslim attacking a man on crutches in the UK. It was revealed to be a non Muslim non immigrant Dutchman in the Netherlands who was arrested the following day and is now serving prison time.
Britain First is also the organisation which was the first far right group to be banned in the UK and was classified as a terrorist organisation. Britain first is what the right wing thug who stabbed to death the MP Jo Cox in the week before the Brexit vote. This is the group Trump has implied support for by re-tweeting their proven lies. He probably just liked them because it sounds a little like ''America first''. It's not like anyone expects him to think or do even the minimal amount of research before tweeting but his refusal to admit his mistake and his doubling down on it by attacking the condemnation of the British government is just further proof of his incability to do his job.
Way to alienate one of your closest allies in order to pander to your fast deminishing base at the expense of your countries international reputation.

 

They are a banned racist terrorist organisation. Your denying that there is anything wrong with them not only highlights your ignorance but also tells the forum exactly where your alliegencies lie. One of many videos posted by them reputedly shows British Muslims celebrating the Paris attacks but were in fact Pakistani cricket fans celebrating winning the cricket world cup.
Now you have been educated on the subject of Britain First do you wish to reconsider your statement or are you going to double down on your support of terrorists responsible for numerous violent attacks on British Muslims and the murder of a British MP?
The hate crime is murder and violence against minorities with posting fake videos with the intent to stir up racial hatred and incite violence. This is why several of the groups members are in prison where they belong.

As fir the American reputation, most people putside the US hate us anyways. Trump hasnt changed that in any way.

 

A couple of reasons why they didn't.

They were either on their way to work or already at work so they can pay their taxes.

They don't pay attentions to Trump's tweeting.

The Dutch authorities verified that the man attacking the guy on crutches was a Dutch non Muslim, non immigrant who is now serving prison time.
Most people do not hate Americans but they do ridicule them for their lack of knowledge and their inability to understand the consequences of electing a racist idiot.
