In the UK we know different, of course. We also know that you don't solve terrorism with simplistic bigotry and oppression of an entire group of people who are almost all entirely innocent, and as angry about the terrorist as anybody else (if not more so, since the terrorists are supposedly doing it 'in their name') - that way you just create more terrorists and supporters of terrorism, as they see the ludicrous claims of the terrorists about oppression and 'the struggle' begin to have a grain of truth to them. We have bitter experience of this kind of stuff.
