Politics is war, and it has gotten more and more intense and bitter ever since the Presidential election of 2016. A special prosecutor has been appointed to look into the activities of both the Trump election campaign and the Trump administration. The two sides are virtually at war with one another, and it has gotten bitter, indeed. In warfare, one side sometimes uses diversionary tactics to keep the other side off balance. As Mueller is closing in on the President, the President is using his minions to divert attention away from himself. From Trump's viewpoint, he has to do something. Mike Flynn was a senior advisor during the election campaign and transition period and later was appointed Trump's NSA. He was fired after 24 days. In addition to Flynn turning state's evidence, two of Trump's closest associates, Paul Manafort and Rick Gates have been indicted. It is expected that they also will make a deal with the special prosecutor. George Papadopulous, a junior member of Trump's campaign team, has been an informant for Mueller since July, possibly wearing a wire at opportune times. Trump incriminated himself when he admitted that he knew Flynn lied to the FBI when he asked the FBI director to let Flynn go, then later fired the FBI director because he wouldn't. Then it became known that senior members of Trump's transition team asked Flynn to make a deal with the Russians and it is patently obvious they did so with Trump's blessing. Trump, his advisors, and his lawyers have tried to use diversionary tactics to sway public opinion away from the Russian probe and an impeachment charge of obstruction of justice. These would include Uranium One, a seven-year old controversy that went nowhere due to lack of evidence and common sense. Another was the Steele Dossier and Fusion GPS. It, too, went nowhere when the most serious charge was that the DNC paid for an investigation of a political opponent, a common practice in elections, especially Presidential ones. The RNC and Senate Republicans, including McConnell, have sold their souls to the devil. As Roy Moore holds a rally tonight in a barn on Oak Hollow Farm near Fairhope, Ala. (I ain't lying), the RNC and Trump have endorsed a pedophile for the U.S. Senate. Now that is some diversion. Then there is the one where Mueller's team has become corrupted because an FBI agent was removed from his team in August for writing an anti-Trump text. Supposedly he was responsible for changing the wording of Comey's statement in July, when, as everyone not named Trump knows, Comey is responsible for what Comey says. This diversion is worthy of a good laugh. Lately, Trump's lawyer, John Dowd, decided to fall on his sword, and he, personally, created two diversions, both of them being ridiculously amusing. First, he tried to claim that a Presidential tweet was actually his tweet. Then he tried to assert that the President is above the law, an assertion proven false by history ... twice. Now there appears to be serious disagreements between Trump's lawyers and the White House lawyers. It never ends with Trump. To prove that point, creating still another diversion, Trump wants to rekindle hostilities in the Middle East. He told Israeli and Arab leaders on Tuesday that he plans to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a symbolically fraught move that would upend decades of American policy and upset efforts to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Such a controversial stroke removes the U.S. as a broker of peace in the Middle East, and American troops are already being re-positioned. Two leaders support the decision, Israel's Netanyahu and Putin. Every other Arab and Western leader who have expressed an opinion, are strongly opposed to the decision, and the timing could not be worse. Trump is expected to present some remarks on the issue on Wednesday. It is hoped that, after receiving a boatload of negative vibes, he has changed his mind and it was only another silly diversion. Because that is one hell of a diversion.
War? War is a state of armed conflict - what is going on here is a bunch of snowflakes melting and having a continuous tantrum because they lost an election a year ago. Trump is reacting to their bellows of anguish. What you're calling strategy and tactics is action and reaction on a national level. There are ideological strategies and plans at work - in Trumps case the plan is to make America great again - he has laid out the strategies or steps in his plan for all to see, and he is performing and completing each of those steps as he follows his plan. In the case of the left wing, the plan is to use whatever means comes to hand to stop Trump, - the never ending attacks by the media, the scorched earth policies of the Democrat Congress, the mistake known as the special prosecutor are all left wing attempts to slow Trump down and maybe stop him as he dismantles all of the years of building their apparatchik and to create a single state run by them. Left wingers might imagine themselves digging their little foxholes, secure from enemy fire as they rain fire upon their enemies but in their hearts, they know that this isn't war - it's politics. If it ever comes to war, the left had better run and hide because the right has the training and the experience at real war. However, I do enjoy reading your posts - this one reminds me of an old movie named "Conspiracy Theory" - I assume you've read "Catcher in the Rye"?
Whoops! I forgot about this diversion. There have been so many. Citing a single anonymous source, Brian Ross told viewers during an ABC special report on Friday morning that Flynn was prepared to testify that Donald Trump, as a candidate for president, told him to contact Russians. During Friday's edition of "World News Tonight," Ross walked back his report, telling viewers that the source who had provided the initial information for his story later told him that it was as president-elect, not as a candidate, that Trump asked Flynn to contact Russians. It was a same day correction by a highly respected news network. It happens, rarely, but it happens. It is so rare for an organization like ABC, that, when it happens, it is itself news. Ross was suspended for four weeks without pay. "My job is to hold people accountable and that's why I agree with being held accountable myself," Ross. Yet to hear Trump and his supporters, it is confirmation that the media is "fake news." It is a vain attempt by Trump and dwindling fan base to disenfranchise any negative news report concerning Trump. And, since that happens often, that means the entire news media is "fake." Or, so goes their version of the diversion (pun intended).
Why? I have nothing to do with the left wing, but if Trump is completely innocent why is the left wing doing all this? Why are they coming up with all of these fake charges? Why not use the standard issue complaints the left always uses on the right? They are still valid. The answer is the charges in the OP are not fake. I noticed you did not challenge one assertion made against Trump. Why? Because all the assertions in the OP are true. Your post is just a bunch of B.S. You didn't say anything other than prove your head is in the sand and you won't face reality even when it smacks you right on the none. I'm glad you enjoy my articles, but are you learning anything? Probably not, judging by your comments.
Not only the left it's the nevertrumpers too. You see at no time in our recent history(100 years) has any President went to Washington with the express mission to rid it of elitists political predators living fat off the fruits of taxpayer's labor and he is screwing with the status quo. It was a blessing he won because with the Beast in the WH we still wouldn't have known the level of corruption these pols both left and right have put upon "We The People".
More drivel from the alt left. Manafort and Cates were indicted on charges that had nothing to do with Trump. The charges against Papa had nothing to do with his activities during the election, but for lying about them afterwards. The same can be said of Flynn. The accusations agaisnt Moore are just that, and the more that Allred slow walks to the media, the less credibility she has.
An accused one. And one that doesnt fit what is known about pedophiles. And one whos accuser is championed by a known liar. And I will take your accusations as an addlmittance that you cant contradict anything I said.
The age of consent for females in Alabama 40 years ago was 14. As I understand it, Moore got parental consent is all cases, and I have not heard of any rape or physical assault charges. Did I miss something other than the age difference being a bit tasteless? Please rationalize a charge of "child molester" against the standards of that day for me.
OP = amusing but transparent LARP with exactly -0- factual or legal analysis underpinning other than "a special prosecutor has been appointed." But we already knew that.
Oh and you're wrong The legal age of consent in Alabama, then and now, is 16. Under Alabama law in 1979, and today, a person who is at least 19 years old who has sexual contact with someone between 12 and 16 years old has committed sexual abuse in the second degree. Sexual contact is defined as touching of sexual or intimate parts.
House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) on Wednesday praised President Trump for his expected announcement to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and begin the process of moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to there, arguing that if the militant Palestinian Islamist group Hamas disapproves of the decision then Trump is doing something right. "When a terrorist organization like Hamas is criticizing it, that maybe he’s on the right track," said the GOP leader on Fox Business Network's "Mornings with Maria." http://thehill.com/homenews/house/3...ing-jerusalem-decision-trump-must-be-on-right This is nuts. Has the Republican Party, the Republican President's sycophants, lost their minds? Arab leaders living in the region, allies in the fight against ISIS, have all criticized Trump for his decision. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Jordan’s King Abdullah, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman, who all received phone calls from Trump, joined a mounting chorus of voices warning that unilateral U.S. steps on Jerusalem would derail a fledgling U.S.-led peace effort and unleash turmoil in the region. Close allies such as Britain, France and Germany all criticized Trump or voiced skepticism ahead of his scheduled pronouncement. German Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel used the example to emphasize Tuesday why traditional U.S.-European ties have started to “crumble.” “We all know the far-reaching impact this move would have,” Gabriel said. “Germany’s position on this issue remains unchanged: A solution to the Jerusalem problem can only be found through direct negotiations between both parties. Everything which worsens the crisis is counterproductive.” In the Netherlands, criticism of Trump was also unusually strong. “We think it’s an unwise step and a counterproductive step. If we want to solve at some moment the conflict between the Palestinians and the Israelis, we need a two-state solution, and a one-sided step is not going to help,” said Dutch Foreign Minister Halbe Zijlstra in a Wednesday interview. “I don’t think we can use another conflict in this very explosive region.” Zijlstra said he had conveyed his concerns to Tillerson in Brussels, during a NATO meeting. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...rusalem-pronouncement/?utm_term=.178c9c206dd3 But Scalise says Hamas opposes the decision as if that balances the scales of world opinion. Only two leaders in the world support Trump's decision, Israel's Netanyahu and Russia's Putin.
Typical response from a Trump supporter. Simply deny that the facts exist. Don't provide any facts of your own to substantiate your denial. We are just supposed to believe it because you said so. In other words, a worthless post that says nothing.
One of the reasons for the term "Ugly Americans" was our tendency to judge other cultures by our standards. Shame is determined by the standards that existed there and then, not here and now.
