Jesus or God is a monster who should be destroyed is hate driven. But perhaps you're right; perhaps juvenile is more appropriate.
You can do all the rhetoric you like. I lack belief in assertions that are made without evidence. If you can't show it, you don't know it and you deserve no respect for holding or justifying that position based upon belief rather than faith.
What the frack are you talking about? What exact position are you asserting and what do you think is mine? People on this forum recently stated God is a monster who should be destroyed. Not my words if that is your point. Explain yourself. And I don't need your respect nor do I feel obligated to prove things unless I want to. Just FYI.
If you are not asserting things that you can't show then there is no problem as far as I am concerned.
Come on, common sense here. If you are an atheist, you don't believe in God. You can't hate something that doesn't exist. An athiest may hate that people have an idea of God because not only does that idea rule them, but they try to rule the world with that idea, thus imposing their belief on others, such as athiests.
Atheists do not believe in God's, Theists blame Gods https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/nov/04/usa.health "But, given the vehemence with which he has been fighting to prolong Terri's life, it is a little surprising to learn that Robert decided to turn off the life-support system for his mother. She was 79 at the time, and had been ill with pneumonia for a week, when her kidneys gave out. "I can remember like yesterday the doctors said she had a good life. I asked, 'If you put her on a ventilator does she have a chance of surviving, of coming out of this thing?'" Robert says. "I was very angry with God because I didn't want to make those decisions.""
Sorry but the whole concept of a personal god be it the Christians three in one god or the Geek or Rome gods is beyond ridiculous an I came to that conclusion at around eleven years of age. It did take a bit longer for me to understand that unlike the tooth fairy or Santa Claus I as a child I was suppose to give lip service to the god myth long after I was expected to rejected the other myths of childhood. Hint to religion parents if you have children that are readers you would be wise not to allow them to have access to a bible as they might then draw their own conclusions that you might not be happy with.
Now hold on one darned second there, Cap!! Sure, the Easter Bunny and Bigfoot are fake (they have no evidence supporting them), BUT SANTA AND JESUS clearly are not fake!! I've SEEN the cookies/milk I put out for Santa NOT be there in the morning - what more evidence do you evil atheists need!!?? I've SEEN Jesus cure an occasional cancer victim here and there (when he can take time off from his busy schedule of creating Acts of God such as deadly earthquakes, deadly tsunamis, deadly floods, etc.) - what more evidence do you evil atheists need!!?? Oh sure, he COULD just GIVE US the final cure for cancer, but just think off all the unemployed hospital workers that would create!! Yes, Jesus knows exactly what he's doing, you evil atheists!!
Not Modern Secular Humanists - we love DEMOCRACY (representative republics) - which is, relative to totalitarian political schemes, giving AWAY power to our fellow man(/woman), not selfishly keeping all the power to ourselves like these evil dudes prefer:
Asking a question and requesting clarification is now being attacked? What is YOUR motive in doing so, fear?
The one that apparently guides your every waking thought and forces you to defend what is an obvious falsehood, theism.
He "blesses" those who smash babies against rocks, per Psalm 137:9. I'm not sure that even HITLER was quite that barbaric, exactly. As former Christians, you and I can be proud that we've moved BEYOND worshipping someone who is worse than even old Adolf.
