Gun on a plane shouldn't be an issue for law abiding citizens. Number of spouses should not be limited. Have all you want if you can support them. To assemble on a highway would violate others rights to use the highway. Not acceptable to violate others rights to exercise one's own. Parade permits are granted for limited use of some roads. Minors can't vote - This is not a constitutional limit it is a human limit. Every society in the world has some sort of age limit. You may have got me on that President one - I find where people have called the President a liar, a criminal and wicked but found no direct threats. But communicating a threat does change how laws are applied. I have free speech but as the saying goes "can't yell fire in a crowded theater". I have a gun but I can't indiscriminately threaten people with it.

This comment is interesting. Again one of your comments about guns doing all the killing. I know you argue that this forum is about gun control and saving lives through gun control. That may be but you seem to care more about the gun control idea than you do about saving lives. I have proposed a solution for saving lives lost to gun violence by trying to curb gun suicides which account for approximately 2 of 3 gun deaths in the U.S. You have not taken the opportunity to even address the idea by offering your input on reducing suicides. I have mentioned many times that there are more areas with higher death tolls than from guns and you keep reminding me this is a gun forum. You have also suggested that more than one goal can be worked towards. I would agree with both the preceding sentences but I am going to once again offer statistics outside the gun debate. You want to "Stop allowing children to be gunned down on our streets". I am all for that but here is my additional statistics: According to the CDC, in 2015 there were 148 children under the age of 15 "gunned down". There were 930 in that same age group who were murdered by means other than a gun. I know not what you want to hear in this thread or, from what I can tell, at all. But there it is. You are so narrowly focused that you would rather work on saving the 148 than the 930. I see no logic in that. Rich

I have spoken many many times about how to use gun control to reduce suicides. You are new here so clearly yo do not know that. Waiting periods have been shown to reduce suicides and homicides and could save 1700 lives a year according to one study. But if you would like to discuss how to prevent people from slipping in the bathroom and dying find the appropriate forum for that
I find it interesting that you keep up this idea that we are in a gun control forum and if I want to discuss deaths from other causes that I should "find the appropriate forum". If you want to get down real issue at hand in this Gun Control Forum then maybe you should stop talking about how many deaths are caused by guns and start discussing the topic of the forum, GUN CONTROL. It is not the death control forum or the saving lives forum. So from now on let's drop all the death toll numbers and saving lives BS and start to discuss gun control. I don't need to know why you want to control or take my guns. I just need you to tell me about your ideas for that control or attempted confiscation. Outline your new laws and your plans to enforce them. I have outlined my pro gun ideas previously. I would be happy to do it again if you are not clear where I stand. I favor universal background checks, registration, mandatory training, doctors report to ncis, waiting periods. I am against gun bans. Do all that and you can own all the guns you want
So what is your plan to deal with hard core Criminals that those measures do not affect in the slightest way ? As a LEO, and with additional training, I have more than complied with every Gun Control measure, but then, I am law abiding.
Lots of things result in lots of deaths! 1 - Stop eating sh!te food and being a fat c##t. 2 - Stop driving - Cars are flippin dangerous! 3 - Stop smoking & drinking. Also, always remember that every culture/nationality has its own way of thinning he herd - Guns are Americas way.
Again with manditory training, yet not you or any other gun control advocate has ever explained what that means, what such a training program would include, or why those of us with extensive knowledge and experience, often,mas in my case, when many have more knowledge than their instructors. Then, in many instances where registration was required, it has been used to confiscate guns and nothing you can say will guarantee to gun rights advocates it won’t happens given your and the LW continual demonstration of dishonesty and deception. You say you have a lot of gun knowledge. If you joined the military or cops guess what you would have to go thru. No one cares. We don't trust you.
