You're deflecting. You can't answer the question.

Nothing you stated debunks my list. Some Republicans did in fact oppose vaccinations, evolution, climate change, and being muddy on the link between smoking and cancer (although I assume the last one was for $$$). This is all recorded data. This in fact makes my post 100% accurate. But i'll explain more details,

    1. I was talking about the link between smoking and cancer, an old issue. Not actually smoking....rofl. But to be fair to you, it was also Democrats. Both sides were stupid on this, which doesn't detract from my statement.

    2. You found evidence debunking over 90% of publishing climate scientists? The massive 13 federal agency report? NASA? Tons of major science organizations? This would net you the Nobel Peace Prize and world wide fame.

    https://science2017.globalchange.gov/
    https://climate.nasa.gov/evidence/

I didn't see evidence refuting the above data. No one has. It doesn't exist. If you can refute even 1 entire page of that federal report (quote the incorrect portions, and then give a peer reviewed study directly debunking it), I'll wear whatever signature you want.

This is data directly showing you AGW/GW is real. From PHD climate scientist. An economist blogging about a few false predictions does not refute the above data, and as such, the entire field of Climate.

    3. Vaccines,

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/first-read/numbers-republicans-democrats-vaccination-debate-n298606

"Republicans and independents are more likely than Democrats to advocate against required vaccinations."

"According to a new report from the Pew Research Center, vaccine beliefs are divided along party lines. A poll found that 1 out of 3 Republicans and Independents said the decision to vaccinate should be a parent’s choice, compared to 1 out of 5 Democrats."

    https://www.politico.com/story/2015/09/vaccines-2016-republicans-213811

"Now, though, a significant portion of GOP voters are skeptical. An April CBS poll found that only 59 percent of Republican voters thought parents should be legally required to vaccinate their kids. Among Democrats, the percentage was 75 percent."

More importantly, I was objectively right. "Some of your ilk" was anti-science on this topic. Fact.

    4. I'm glad you did not touch upon evolution.

Your side can sound like those snowflakes freaks who think girls are guys, lol! Two sides of the same coin. This is seen through recent examples like evolution, climate, and vaccines.

I'm independent by the way. I know both sides can be anti-science. Heck, people from both sides are anti-science on every issue we've brought up.

No. I just quoted 13 federal agencies, NASA, CBS Poll, and Pew Poll.

In the specific "retort" thread you are talking about, I quoted Pew, Gallup, Real Clear Politics, and Monmouth University. All directly agreeing with me, and countering your citation of [no citation provided]. Not just 538. Furthermore, Nate Silver did not doctor the data in the 538 mass data dump. Their explanatory article was backed up by Pew and Gallup. I can probably add a "not knowing how polling works" into the anti-science list for some Republicans (and Democrats).

So I can link major studies that have gone uncontested and the consensus of entire fields of science for both evolution and climate, you're just going to say "nu uh".

You are the conservative snowflake in this case. The scientific data is not real because of your political affiliation. Like those guys who think girls are guys.

We saw his day to day activity level during the campaign where he was visible. He out worked 30 year-olds. The President, by necessity, isn't nearly as visual.

Didn't read whole thread, CNN quack is utterly debunked and FOS. Anyone interested in truth should read this:

    http://www.newportbodyscan.com/ebt-coronary-calcium-scoring-guide/

30% of men Trump's age have calcium scores of 300 or more. Trump is average to slightly elevated for his age, and no that is not "heart disease," any more than all moderate drinkers have "liver disease." Moreover, the increase from <80 to 130 over ten years is completely normal... as the chart demonstrates. 1/4 of the population over 40 was on cholesterol lowering drugs last I checked, so emphasizing that aspect of Trump's overall health would be irresponsibly dishonest also. Finally, emphasizing this test alone, in the absence of the extremely necessary context of other tests and exams conducted, especially in light of Trump's total lack of the big drinking/tobacco/diabetes risk factors for cardiac disease and events, is grossly negligent and dishonest.

But all you really need to know is... CNN.

Want to complain about Gupta? which I'm thinking of doing, send to Emory Medical School. I doubt their world renowned cardiology department and practice would appreciate what he is doing on national TV in the name of partisan politics...eh they are probably LW too, it's academia after all, but worth a shot.

There is a gene called ACTN3. Itdetermines what your muscle structure will be.

Looking at Trumps old college photos He is a Mesomorph. His scores would be even more normal when compared to other 71 year old Mesomorphs.

CT calcium test. Sanjay is being a turd. Trumps score was normal for a 71 year old man. Most 71 year old men have some calcium buildup in the heart so technically they all have some degree of heart disease.

Political affiliation has nothing to do with it. Absolutely nothing in my case. I'd be more than happy to reasonably debate you on either topic. I have plenty of questions.

I don't want questions when it comes to science debate. I want recent peer reviewed studies debunking (a)gw and evolution.

Is there a link or a test you can take? I only ask because I'm curious about myself. I'm currently waiting for 23 and Me to send my results back to me on my ancestry but I don't recall the mention of anything like that, and I answered 965 questions total.

But the scientists gave you their answer on these 2 topics. For decades..

Unless you believe two entire fields of science are wrong. Like how liberals do in some topics.

Two sides of the same coin.

This doesn't change what I wrote. Although I would like to see a specific study seeing who is more fat between democrat and republican.

To me, this isnt really about whether or not he is obese or even whether or not he has heart disease.

A year ago i walked into my doctors office and he said "you're 34 years old and you weight 333 lbs. If you dont lose weight you'll be dead by 45".

Thankfully after a decade and a half of eating anything I wanted, I found it within myself to drop to 255 lbs. I'm still fat, but my life isn't in danger.

The point of my anecdote is that obesity is tremendously dangerous, and even being "overweight" and on the edge of obesity is still dangerous. Yeah, my BMI was higher than Trump's but I am also 40 years younger than him. My doctor basically said lose weight or die, and yet Trump's doctor gave him a clean bill of health and described him as being perfectly healthy. Its just not possible.

And why even ****ing lie about it? It seems like Trump has nothing to gain by being overweight rather than obese. Its not so much the deliberate lies that have obvious motivations and goals. Its the pointless lies that really get to me.

Did you watch the video. He said explicitly that Trump needs to lose about 20lbs and get his LDL down. And he is working on that with him.

I agree that he could stand to lose about 20. 210s is a good weight for a 6'3" 71 year old Mesomorph. And still obese according to BMI.

BMI is a joke. Weight does not universally very by the square if the height nor is the relationship the same for all people.

Human morphology identified 3 different body types generations ago. Science has only further proved this correct. Someone with the genes if a Mesomorph will almost always be obese regardless of what shape they are in. They have significantly more fast twitch fiber which weighs significantly more than slowtwitch and their bone structure is significantly larger.

This young Trump would still be considered obese as I would eyeball him at 200-215 which at 6'3" is BMI > 25
    [IMG]

Then BMI is compounded by the fact that it was invented in 1972 when the only people who did any kind of strength training were strength athletes.
