Oh I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. America has been sold out by Globalist Agendas, and unfortunately we are realizing that with all the workers protections and wages Americans get that we have pushed ourselves out of said Global market...so they want slave labor.

Guess what happens when all these illegals are made legal? Then they're entitled to the same wages and protections that Americans get...which then means they need to be replaced by a new batch of slave laborers. it's a circle that will need to be broken at some point. Making them citizens wont be as helpful to them as some might think, they'll simply now stand next to the other unemployed American citizens while people keep importing the cheap labor.

Perhaps you could cite the standard of capitalism which intended such child labor.

Care to point out the racism I was called out on?

When you don't find any, know that you are just like Ned in this regard...and many others as well today. You have no idea what the word means, but you know it can be a bad insult which many times stops a debate opponent in their tracks so you just toss it out there like a flash bang when you run out of talking points.

Sometimes however it doesn't work and you just look foolish.

Not by broadcasting to the world what could be detrimental to the interest of US Citizens. His hatred of Trump, trumps any interest he has in serving the American people.

Yes, you are right, ARDY... getting a Green Card does require some effort. Why should any American citizen feel like we need to apologize for requiring aliens who want to work here, or immigrate here, to follow our procedures, fill out our required applications, and, comply with our laws...? Frankly, if they find the requirements too onerous, inconvenient, or oppressive, they can pack their bags and LEAVE. The road that leaves the United States is just as wide as the one that brought their illegal asses here in the first place....

Again, though, you raise a good point. So, here is the process by which one can get a Green Card: https://www.usa.gov/green-cards

If someone is so, uh, challenged that they can't follow these relatively straightforward instructions, it is probably better that they just forget about it and go find somewhere else on the planet to work or live....

[IMG]. "Hmmm.... Maybe I should try MEXICO instead...." . :cynic: :deadhorse:

I love it down there too Fred. Especially in Belize where I have been several times and even stayed in the great Jerry Jeff Walker's house. The climate of corruption may have stemmed from Spain originally but other vultures including several US corporations like United Fruit have been ravaging and raping these economies for several decades. I hope you are right and that the inherent corruption regardless of who is responsible for it will continue to be exposed and attacked. Cheers

I actually was not interested to find out the green card process
Since I am relatively familiar with the process

Being familiar with the process, I know that getting a green card means that you are granted permanent resident alien status... which is very difficult

The various ways to qualify are listed here.
    https://www.uscis.gov/greencard/eligibility-categories

My point is that people do not simply waltz into the country from shithole countries... or even from non-shithole countries

    You seem to think

That I think we need to apologize for our immigration regulations.
Or maybe you think II think we should not have any immigration regulations
Or perhaps you think I think that it is unnecessary to enforce those regulations
I do not think these things ... unless you can provide a quote from me to the contrary

My point is only this... regardless of which country you are from (shithole ore not). It is not trivial to become a legal immigrant to this country... which assumption seems to be the basis for this thread and also the basis for trumps comments about immigration from shithole countries

If you disagree with my opinion, I am glad to continue the discussion by examining what ever evidence you have that contradicts my assertion

Hi Jack, Belize is the only country in Central America I haven't visited. I've sent most of my time down there in Costa Rica but have made many trips to Nicaragua, especially Grenada, the only city in Central America I really like.

The Nicaraguans are rightly famous for being the hardest working people in Central America and I'd agree. But they're also desperately poor, and that's all due to corruption. Daniel Ortega is thought to be one of the wealthiest men in Central America but no one knows for sure. I like the people very much.

There is a large United Fruit company in northern Costa Rica (now Chiquita Banana) and it's status to work for them. There are many inspections because of the reputation but in fact the conditions are quite good, and certainly better than working for any local company. Foreign companies always treat their workers better, as far as I've seen.

Yeah, I'm a big Jerry Jeff fan too.

Explain in English please. The only standard in any capitalism is, how much can I make out of them, alive or dead?

Capitalism, as you may learn when you grow up, benefits capitalists. What planet are you living on at the moment?

It was clear and you understood it.

You cited a standard but cannot cite where the standard came from because it is just some bullshit drivel you spewed.

You keep talking about standards, and I don't think you have any. Please quote the bit you keep going on about, because this is getting boring.

I like trees and caves too, kiddo, but I don't live in them. You think only holy hermits are allowed to describe the idiocies of your system, eh?

You have failed to describe any idiocies you have merely proven to be a hypocritical lover of capitalism who wines about about it to make believe you are smart.

Don't you understand anything, kid? I know you believe in a flat earth because you don't believe you can eat otherwise, but most of us grow up. Haven't you noticed, child, that capitalism has outlived its usefulness and is going to destroy you? You always seem to suppose it is a denomination you have to belong to, not a long outmoded state in human development. Right wing Americans, you know, are almost unbelievably silly and old-fashioned, but grown-ups are allowed to think still.
