This is just another feather in the cap of the argument that Devin Nunes will do whatever it takes in order to protect Donald Trump. Last week, Devin Nunes released a partisan memo that did NOT totally vindicate Donald Trump on either the collusion or the obstruction of justice charge. That stunt garnered $100,000 in campaign donations for Andrew Janz, the Democratic Prosecutor currently challenging Devin Nunes.

 

Trump lies.

Nunes lies.

Birds of feather fly.

 

So the 2 were in the same meeting. Where is the proof they actually knew each other?

The OP also references (and links) the fact that Papadopoulous also edited foreign policy speeches for Trump and arranged meetings on the then-candidate's behalf with foreign leaders. Donald Trump also identified him, by name, in this interview with Washington Post and identifying him as "an oil and energy consultant, excellent guy."

But if you want to know if they REALLY knew each other, like in the biblical sense (which is what we both know that you actually meant), then I can not help you unfortunately.

 

That wasn't the label the Trump campaign gave him.

Honestly, who besides the far alt right is even claiming there was no corroboration outside the dossier? I haven't even heard Nunes claim that, and he was a member of the same transition team that is being investigated. Anyone who actually cares about the swamp should care about that.

And we know from Papadopolous' plea deal that he announced to that very meeting that he had been told by Russians (with direct connections to the Foreign Ministry, where the Russian meddling campaign was then being run) that the Russians has the DNC e-mails.....two months BEFORE Wikileaks!!!!
