Today is Thursday, and for me this is only like a Tuesday or so because I have at least 4 days to go before I get a day off.

    For dinner/lunch today:

    - KFC

    - to drink grapefruit juice.

So are large shrimp. But then it has to be cooked and/or chilled
    properly.I'm reminded of the fun movie - Tommy Boy - { 1996 }
Where Farley and Spade stop at a roadside café and are really hungry.
David Spade notices a plate of cooked and chilled shrimp.
But actually it looked soggy and limp. But nonetheless
Spade orders that Shrimp plate sitting in the café display behind
the front window.Where Chris Farley is content after talking the
waitress into keeping the fried chicken fryer on a little longer.
He was looking forward to some fried chicken.
His overly loud business-type con artist voice won out.
I miss Chris Farley. He had that quality. The Gift.
As Rush Limbaugh explained yesterday as to what the word
" Character " means.Because Barbara Bush had a lot of character.
It means to be personable no matter the person you are engaging
    conversation with.
That real character means to treat others nicely knowing
they can't benefit you at all. They can't help your
career, station in life or social strata.

I never had a plate of crawfish.I guess the steaming makes for
great crawfish juices.Because food juices are very key.
However ... The cleanup. It must be both a mess and a bother.
    Like Deboning a whole chicken.

I concur. Going to have a boil mid May. Waiting on the rsvps but probably have 60-90 pounds flown in from Louisiana. This will be our fourth boil. Started with our 25th wedding anniversary. Lots of fun. Gotta start brewing the beer this weekend. Woohoo!

They give you a bucket to put the shells in, just dump the bucket. One problem is using a lot of napkins to keep your hands clean. Eating crawfish can make for messy hands.

Again ... pretty much like what need be done after deboning
a whole chicken.Begging the question ... was it worth it.
But Whole Fryers are still somewhat cheap.Whereas a nice
Breast of chicken can end-up being Not Cheap.
Thankfully I try and post stuff that ain't Too Cheap or boring.
    I mean,why would I.?
    Why should I.?

Too much work for too little meat, IMO. Like crab these days. I like the meat, but dang, whatcha gotta do to get something to eat!

For some, I guess that's the allure. Used to be, but I guess I've gotten lazy. I like my food RTE. :D

Really fresh large King Crab are very seasonal.AND Expensive.
Whereas as Beluga Caviar is still popular given all the new
millionaires able to afford,no matter the cost.
Same with Fine French Wine.In Washington D.C. the rich
beaurocrats dominate expensive items like Great wine and also
great restaurants. So there's little hope for Mr.Small Potatoes.
    Such is Life.

You can by the meat in frozen packs. Very good in stews, gumbo and other traditional dishes.
