Yes indeed those damn Democrats tend to focus on the killers and those who support the killers rights to own such firearms and at an age where they could not even buy a can of beer and not the blaming of the victims, would be victims and the families of the victims.

    Horsepucky.
The Democrats focus on limiting the rights of the law abiding in whatever way they can, and they stand on the still-arm bodies of the victims while doing so.

Perhaps in your alternate reality that might be true but in the universe I live in there are as many democrats guns owners as Republican guns owners.

The only difference is that we are for some limit on the abilities to own weapons of mass murders that are not even good for most legal purposes.

An that go even more for allowing someone that can not yet buy a can of beer legally to buy a weapon able to do mass murders of his age mates.

Every style of firearm has been used in mass murders.

I used to fire a Norinco Coach Gun very rapidly, as fast as I could break it open and eject the spent shells.

Then explain the exact scientific methodology that was used in determining that no private individual anywhere in the united states, has any legitimate need or use for magazines capable of holding eleven rounds of ammunition.

    From the FBI itself.

    https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....able_8_murder_victims_by_weapon_2010-2014.xls

In each of the presented years for which figures are kept, rifles of all types amounted to less than four hundred killings per year, and that number continues to go down each and every year for which the data is presented. By comparison, shotguns were used more frequently, and handguns far more frequently, at far more than twenty times the rate.

The numbers do not support the position of yourself. According to the findings of the FBI, the AR-15 and similar firearms are used in an exceedingly minute number of incidents when compared to all other firearms and other weapons. More people are literally stomped, kicked, and choked to death, than are killed with rifles, regardless of type.

    Which means nothing.

No rifle on the legal market is designed to facilitate mass murder.

Such as motor vehicles which have resulted in mass killings far greater in terms of scope than any firearm? Stephen Paddock made use of multiple firearms, and he still could eclipse the number of dead and injured in the mass killing in the city of Nice, in the nation of France, all perpetrated with a single motor vehicle.

You go ahead and tell yourself that. You're wrong, of course, but heaven forbid you acknowledge those facts you claim to "like".

Not at all, but you go ahead and tell yourself that if it helps you sleep better at night.

You dismiss ANY fact-based example as "anecdotes". Anytime you hear something you don't want to, you accuse the other person of being dishonest and making it up. You're just sticking your fingers in your ears and going "LALALALALALAAAA" and your desperation is becoming amusing to me.

My statement is proven true every time a mass shooting makes the national news.
Like most who seek to further limit the rights of the law abiding, you argue from abject ignorance and bigoted, partisan talking points.
    This only supports my point.

Sorry, but 2014 isn't exactly current data. Try again.

But March 2018 is NOT ancient history and was the best March for gun sales in history. Go figure.

I've never posted anything but. That hasn't stopped you from claiming I was being dishonest... without you posting any "actual facts" to back it up, however.

No, they focus on private property such as guns. The Democrats need to start focusing on the problem, that being the killers.

2001 is not current either but the problem is solved. Notice they did not ban pilots, passengers nor crew. They did ban terrorists though. That is a major death event that was not solved the way some posters want the student led mass killings solved. I will never understand how the Democrats's mind operates once they have had proof handed to them wrapped in a silk cloth.

    https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u....016/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-4.xls

According to data by the FBI for the most recent year, rifles of all types accounted for less than four hundred deaths that were classified as homicides. Handguns accounted for well over seven thousand.

No matter what year is analyzed, the data and facts still do not support the position of yourself. The AR-15, and all other similar rifles, are one of the least commonly utilized firearms in the commission of a homicide.

Except of course we were talking about mass shootings, not total homicides. But thanks for trying.

Why are "mass shootings" the defining issue? Why ignore "total homicides"?

There have been three K-12 school mass shootings in the last twenty years where an "assault weapon" was used to murder the victims. A total of 36 school children were killed over those two decades. Not a single one was Black.
Over that same time period over 9,686 Black children age 5-17 were murdered. Where are their marches? Where is their forum topic?

Because the topic is mass shootings. You can start a new thread if you want to discuss just how many gun killings America has as opposed to the rest of the civilized word.
