    "Non threatening"?

"Another day, another threat by North Korea to stage an "unimaginable" strike on the U.S. amid tensions over Pyongyang's nuclear and missile programs.

"The U.S. is running amok by introducing under our nose the targets we have set as primary ones. The U.S. should expect it would face unimaginable strike at an unimaginable time," the North's Korean Central News Agency said Thursday"

I see you don't live near any chinese community. Chineses, as far as generalizations can be made, are shy and introverted. They don't trust much in strangers.

It was almost like they intentionally tried to sabotage any future nuclear disarmament deals.

You have no idea what KJU offers. And neither do I, BTW. All you have is a telephone game about them.

I just don't believe in a free lunch.

Every move obama made was directed by Jarad with the intention of assisting the iranian nuclear program

Trump has done nothing that merits a peace prize because no peace has come about yet. However, @Josephwalker and I are talking theoretically here about if nuclear disarmament of North Korea occurs.

What would you have done to get to the point that we're at now, with the meeting between the leaders of north and south? If you don't think sanctions were necessary then fine - but if you want to be taken seriously, then you have no choice but to come up with an alternative solution.

    Previous what?

    How is this "believed?"

Says the guy who wrote that they were aggressive.

Like I've wrote, I don't think you know of any Chinese person yourself - which would be in line with your xenophobic instincts. =)

    Ok

Mr Lee always smiles and bows when he serves your WonTon soup

But even cuddly little yap dogs have a bit of the wolf in their DNA

When china is strong enough they will claim the entire world as theirs

We will have to wait 3-4 weeks to see what impression Trump gets from his summit and it will be interesting to watch as he clearly said he would abruptly walk out if he isn't satisfied. I hope they are coaching Kim on how to deal with that possibility. Trump's goal is the verified elimination of North Korea's nukes, but Kim is calling for much more. He hasn't demanded US troop withdrawals, but this is implicit in his call for peaceful reunification and denuclearization of the entire peninsula. Likewise his calls for roads and railways unifying the two Koreas wouldn't be possible without lifting sanctions, but he hasn't asked for this either. Kim has unilaterally halted nuclear and missile testing, announced the closure of his possibly unusable test site and offered to get rid of his nuclear weapons if the US promises not to attack. Trump should immediately agree to this once it is verified the nukes have been destroyed. Lifting sanctions and reunification could be negotiated based on progress.

I think the idea should be to separate the different issues; eliminating nukes, demilitarizing, sanctions and reunification. That getting rid of the nukes should come first, then a peace treaty where the US promises not to attack, then military withdrawals, removing sanctions and reunification. I think these things could be pursued concurrently and that they should be placed on tracks with milestones; inventory the nukes and development facilities, schedule inspections and demolitions, reciprocal troop withdrawals, removal of weapons and decommissioning bases, lifting sanctions in specific stages based on development plans and integrating the two countries based on particular political and infrastructural features. All of this will need to be carefully plotted and negotiated, milestones need to be capable of being met and verified, accomplishing them rewarded by granting concessions.

Well, given that China, apart for the last 300 years always has been a superpower and the world is still standing, I'd say it speaks for itself, doesn't it? It is natural for China to be in a position of responsible power. They're an old people, you see.

Kim cannot be serious about the peaceful reunification since that would involve him losing power

No they don't. It is equivalent to the Scottish film called "Gregory's Girl" when it was shown with subtitles in the US even though it was in English.
