One of the tricks that lefties can't help but pull is reducing an argument to the point of a straw argument.

Like how when Trump said something to the effect that they're sending rapists here. The left throws an "all" in there and suddenly Trump is expected to defend a statement he didn't say. It's like "Every illegal immigrant coming here from Mexico is a rapist!"

If he said that, then they could say "so all Mexicans coming here are rapists?"

Of course if he had actually said that, he could easily say "are you deaf?"

but no, they just reduce it to a strawman and then don't even have the brains to argue against their own strawman.
