It's actually not really noteworthy that Trump lied again, he does it daily, and often more than once daily, but the phenomenal thought is that there are people out there that believe what he says regardless of the FACT that he lies continuous

It's comparable to believing Aesop's boy who cried wolf even after you knew he was lying

 

What a joke of a President. Anyone who voted for him should sit out a few elections.

 

Crime is "down" according to the section of Germany's government that is responsible for making migrants look better.

The same government body that makes its citizens feel that if they report migrant crime, or talk about migrant crime, or object to the governments handling of migrant crime then they will face charges themselves.

Combine that with the fact that in the migrant dense cities of Germany their police have been instructed not to write reports of most migrant crime.

So is it "down" because its actually down or because they've just stopped counting.

 

And it is "up" according to an individual who wants to demonize immigrants. Only one of them have any facts or statistics to support their case, and it isn't Donald Trump.

 

Does anyone really believe that a country can import hundreds of thousands of people who have no respect for the law and take what they want when they want it and crime dropped?

 

Except when their government tells the local police to stand down or ignore migrant crimes they don't catalog the incidents.

So they have some "facts" and "statistics" but they're incomplete.

And so if they're not counting all crime then how can they say crime is down?

Its like how we use UI benefits enrollments to measure unemployment rate - when people run out of their UI benefits they're not counted as being unemployed.

Except if they didn't find a job when the UI ran out they're still unemployed aren't they.

And thats why the real unemployment numbers are the ones to pay attention to.

Whats Germany's real crime figures? ...we don't know.

We're only provided with incomplete data and the reason that its incomplete is because the government has invested interest in masking migrant crime.

If everything is so hunky-dory in Germany, why may Merkel be out of a job by next week? People are sick of her open-door immigration policy. 86% of Germans want the borders closed, and she has been given 2 weeks to do it.
As for the stats, they aren't quite as they seem according to der Spiegel. Authorities say that crime is going down, yet 44% of Germans say that they feel less secure. Roughly 20% of known crime is not recorded in the annual police report. Terrorism incidents are not included and 93% of sexual offenses and 2% of hate crimes are not reported.

Migrants may be responsible for most of a recent rise in violent crime in Germany, research commissioned by the government suggests.
The study used data from Lower Saxony, a state where more than 90% of the rise was attributed to young male migrants.
The researchers say the findings are not surprising because many migrants who arrived in Germany in recent years are single males aged 14-30.
This group is most likely to commit crime, irrespective of nationality.
The researchers also said that migrants were twice as likely to be reported to police for alleged violent crimes as German nationals.
The report comes as Chancellor Angela Merkel's centre-right CDU/CSU prepares for coalition talks with the centre-left SPD.
Both groups were seen as being hurt by their apparently liberal migration policies in September's election.

 

What do the crime figures say?
The latest official crime figures we have from Germany show that 5.76 million crimes were reported in 2017. As a percentage of the population, this means crime is now at its lowest level for 30 years.

What about crime by foreigners?
Crime by foreigners specifically is also down significantly – and even more sharply. The figure of crimes by non-German nationals fell by 23 per cent since last year, from 950,000 to just over 700,000.


Why did Trump say this if it's wrong?
The president, an avid consumer of right-wing US media, may have picked up on reports of violence involving foreign nationals in Germany. A number of sex crimes in 2015 and 2016 involving foreign nationals were widely reported around the world at the height of the refugee crisis, but the figures suggest they do not appear to be typical.

Don't believe it...politicians notoriously under report crime statistics especially in Europe. All one has to look at to know this is true, is check out Angela Merkel's recent poll numbers which are very low and unfavorable.

This is yet another situation where a liberal leader GAVE AWAY a country. Sure they can get rid of her alright, but they'll still be stuck with all the crap she let in. All over the world liberals are the ruin of everything. No one knows this more than us in the U.S.
