I know a lot about children I have 5. From your posts I assume you don't have any. Clue to you, children are not fragile little flowers. They are very adaptable and capable of handling tough situations. However if you are worried, ripping that child away from it's fiends in his home country and dragging him or her to a country that speaks another language and planting him or her in a ghetto is far more damaging to that child's physiological well being.

Women who are arrested for committing crimes are separated from their kids everyday. The difference in this case is that the kids of those arrested for entering the US illegally are well cared for by US government workers. That doesn’t happen in Chicago or Baltimore for example.
