a good example of most commonly used 'bullshit' is 420 for pot, completely useless for any 'reasonable' discussion, but if useless is the best you can do. source?
this incoherent response is not relevant to anything I said. Atheism remains, by definition, not a religion. Just like not playing baseball isn't a sport. Atheism continues to mean, lack of belief in a god or gods.
nah, all that nothing you all post doesnt take up much space you know. I asked rahl for his source and what did we get? Nothing, care to help him out maybe to move the discussion forward? Otherwise there will be volumes of more nothing due to overwhelmingly widespread lack I presume? It does prove my other thread true however that the atheist god is nothing. http://www.politicalforum.com/index...t-gods-of-lack-the-only-true-religion.536312/ Chaos A primordial void, nothingness. This god was asexual and had children himself, most notable Erebus and Nyx. The Latin poet Ovid gave "chaos" the meaning of unorder. The Nothingness, also known as Chaos, or the Void and Abyss is a world featured in Greek Mythology. It first appears in around 700 BCE and ends around 9th Century. http://www.thehellenictimes.com/persona.html Pemba is the African God of Nothing and comes from the mythology of Africa. Board atheists have been bragging about how they have nothing, 100% lack. Of course what they failed to calculate is there is a god for that!
Other than by definition, atheism is of course not a religion. You even posted the definition showing this. Atheism continues to mean the lack of belief in a god or gods.
But the definition says it is religious, every one can see that. simply tooting its not religious is not an explanation, unless of course you want to argue that 'lack of belief' does not mean disbelief? Do ya? No one knows how you concocted that by 'definition it is not a religion' since a religious position is religious, and since you failed to explain whatever you imagine that connection to be time and time again it goes without saying you are in denial. You dont really think that not playing baseball is a legitimate response or counter argument do you? I mean like seriously? Your baseball quip is just that a meaningless quip. Disbelief is the antithesis to believe. Disbaseball is not the antithesis to baseball. Yeh because you people have no valid explanations for your [dis]beliefs, and atheists are hypocrites since they brag about reason while they believe something to be true that they have no evidence therefore no reason to believe is true. (mega pun intended) Maybe if you people could step your game up and actually give bonafide rebuttals to the question it wouldnt look so foolish out here and it would be put to rest, but until then you are as big of targets actually bigger targets than the theists since you brag how rational you are yet have no explanations for anything. Why dont you help rahl, all he has done is stand on a soap box and cant even explain why he thinks its not a religion. He keeps yelping by definition and the definition is crystal clear, 'its religious'!....and he cant exaplain otherwise. Nothing sort of comedy central.
I'm not quite sure how you propose his happens. I don't think Kokomojojo suggests we take some more common understanding of cult and then just add atheism to the list (as adding -10 to the natural numbers would) as much as finding another initial rule which already includes -10. I'm also not sure the perspective makes sense. I mean, we could define the natural number as "1, 2, 3, 4 and every whole number above 4". If you add -10 to that definition, you have extended the information by 20% rather than by the 100% you suggest, yet they both describe the same situation. But then again, I'm not sure which information you suggest exists, or whether you think it's bad that we change the information accordingly.
it's ****ing hilarious watching you quote the definition of atheism, showing it not to be a religion, and then stomping your feet claiming it's a religion. Lol.
and there you have it folks, same **** different day, rahl flies in the face of the dictionary and has no explanation what so ever why he thinks its not a religion. Dictionary says its religious rahl says its not who ya gonna believe?
Westers Dictionary: a·the·ism ˈāTHēˌizəm/ noun noun: atheism disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods. synonyms: nonbelief, disbelief, unbelief, irreligion, skepticism, doubt, agnosticism; nihilism "atheism was not freely discussed in his community" WIKI: Atheism is, in the broadest sense, the absence of belief in the existence of deities.[1][2][3][4] Less broadly, atheism is the rejection of belief that any deities exist.[5][6] In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.[1][2][7][8] Atheism is contrasted with theism,[9][10] which, in its most general form, is the belief that at least one deity exists.[10][11][12]
Didnt you get that from a google search? I want the exact link you found that since my websters does not agree with your websters, so I want to investigate and if I cant sort it out write to websters and find out why they have contradictory definitions. I expect that since both the UK court and the US court has determined that a deity is not required for it to be considered a religion that your version is most likely outdated. I do appreciate your 'substantive' response however, agree or disagree you appear to be the gem among trolls.
Okay...that does help to clarify what is going on here. " Definition of atheism 1 a : a lack of belief or a strong disbelief in the existence of a god or any gods b : a philosophical or religious position characterized by disbelief in the existence of a god or any gods" Apparently you confuse "Position on Religion" with being religious, Every person on Earth (including Atheist) have a position or opinion on religion if they have heard of the concept, this does not mean they are religious or have a religion of not being religious. If someone does not believe a tomato is fruit that does not mean they don't eat meat....your confusion puzzles me...
Position Trading 101 Cory MitchellDec 04, 2014 Position traders, often known as “buy and hold” traders, take longer-term positions usually based on long-term charts and/or macroeconomic factors. These traders operate in nearly every market, including stocks, ETFs, forex and futures. Position trading is taking a position in an asset, expecting to participate in a major trend. Position traders aren’t concerned with minor price fluctuations or pullbacks. Instead they want to capture the bulk of the trend, which can last for months or years. https://traderhq.com/trading-strategies/introduction-to-position-trading/ Taking a position means invested. I am interested in seeing that definition, and this looks bad because the only place I can find what you posted is in a thesaurus which of course is not the definition of the word. https://www.google.com/search?q=syn...nosticism;&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/atheism nope not there this is what you posted and it is not in my link, so which link: a·the·ism ˈāTHēˌizəm/ noun noun: atheism disbelief or lack of belief in the existence of God or gods. synonyms: nonbelief, disbelief, unbelief, irreligion, skepticism, doubt, agnosticism; nihilism "atheism was not freely discussed in his community"
Fine....I'll type real slow an stuff fer 'ya.. Go to Google which bees one o' dem searcy type engian thangys. Type in "Atheism" an then enter. Look at the first thig on the page. None of this deals with my revelation concerning your confusion however...care to comment on that?
you need to make up your mind, you said it was in my link and its not Looks to me like you pulled line 1 out of the oxford lite dictionary and the rest from some thesaurus. Not surprised you wont give me the link because no one link will say that.
