Firstly, Iran's President Rouhani is a moderate & reformist who has opposed the aging mullahs and tried to bring Iran closer to the West while repeatedly reaching out to the US (1)

Secondly, Trump only says & does what he is instructed to say or do by Netanyahu (2) and is not acting in America's best interests by doing so.
