    Come on Max.

    They apparently got the guy cold. What's the plea deal for? If they got him dead to rights, nail him with it. But I understand they gave him a plea deal?

    That's called gun to your head, figuratively speaking.

    What would you say to reduce your sentance? Probably anything they ask.

    The plea deal still means going to jail. And this wasn't under Mueller's control. It was in the Southern District of New York.

    Oh, I'm quite sure Mueller's fingers are all over this.

    Certainly Cohen is going to face jail time, but what would you say to get some years lopped off the sentence?

    Reduced sentencing by saying everything they want him to.

    Otherwise, what's the point of Cohen suggesting the President told him to pay off the sluts? What does that have to do with anything he's convicted of?

    We leave the torturing of Cohen to Trump. (If he gets his hands on him.) Because that's the kind of thing Trumps considers right now. Kill the guy outright, bury him in concrete, dissolve him in acid.
    You name it, Trump thinks it.

    If Trump thinks Cohen is gonna rat him out, any method to dispose of him will be considered. This is the kind of psycho we're dealing with and he's living in the White House.
    Trumps war against (Mueller's) justice is only just beginning.

    But why did Cohen say the President told him to pay off the sluts? What does that have to do with what he was convicted of?

    Was it a felony for proprietors to payoff the racketeers; or was it a felony for the racketeers to extort it from them in the first place?

    This isn't Venezuela nor Germany 1939. Everything he says would have to be backed up with evidence or defense lawyers will shred him on the stand. It wouldn't even be a hung jury, it'd be a clear acquittal.

    I have no idea what you are referring to.

    It's well known he paid the sluts. That's been known for some time.

    So why now claim he did it at the Presidents suggestion?

    What legal jeopardy would Cohen be in for making such payments? There is no law that I am aware of that would prohibit an attorney from reaching an agreement with another person and providing payment under that agreement.

    My guess is they held the knife of "manipulating a Presidential Election" to his throat.

    They will, once they see their own re-election campaign in danger after being associated with Trump. It is just a matter of time. People got tired of Obama too, even though he behaved like a decent human being, unlike Trump.
