Trump’s Snub of McCain Isn’t Just Indecent

There are good reasons not to make a national idol of McCain, well addressed in other threads.

 

neither party wants to own health care, cause then they get blamed for the insurance industries future greed, it will have to be a bipartisan bill, just do not think it will happen anytime soon

republicans want to give to much too the insurance corps and the rich - dems wont agree
democrats want to give too much to the people - repubs wont agree

until they meet in the middle, nothing changes

McCain is quintessentially American. In serving this country he tried, and failed, and tried, and failed, and tried, and tried, and tried. So like America itself, it's not that he was better, it's that he never stopped trying.

McCain started the whole thing when he publicly attacked the President over the infamous "bus/locker room talk" audio. Then there was continued ongoing attacks by McCain. Ever heard of the Dossier and McCain's role in it?

And then there was the dramatic entrance by Augustus Caesar McCain with the equally pathetic thumbs down on the Senate Floor.

Add in his insult to Sarah Palin, and apparently a number of senior staff from his previous campaigns, and the question of why the President should not be compelled to offer a magnanimous gesture to McCain can be more easily answered.

 

Yes, we know. Obama did nothing wrong over the course of eight years; just ask the Obama worshiping MSM and all his followers. There was no Fast and Furious and no political weaponizing of the IRS to take out the tea party and no "If I had a son he would look like Trayvon" to try and poison a jury pool and influence a sitting judge and no (fill in the blank); because Obama WAS a holy and sacred leftist Political Messiah.

Regardless of President, the extremists in the opposition never give them any slack and pitch a fit over the most minor things. Trump's refusal to follow tradition and sign the half-staff proclamation was just petty and now he's rightfully catching flak for it.

Since Trump isn't really a Republican I fail to see why he would consider McCain an "arse-hole of a RINO".

 

Except we dont know that Trump actually has billions of dollars like he claims since he won't release his income taxes. For all we know he could have 10 million in the bank and a far cry from billion status.

 

With McCain soon to be buried, the Republicans have no excuse to not move forward repealing Obamacare. They'll look like spineless weasels if they don't move hard on it.

Of course he should get a pass. Even my wife wasn't irked by what he said, and asks how many guys boast of sexual prowess and conquest? My daughter said the same thing. So I defer to them. IMO the outrage is just another example of the left trying to make everything the President says or does into a massive issue.

 

It's not that I support him as much as I like watching your guys' eyes bug out of your heads every day.
