The bet was that she was not "an Indian."

Ask a real Indian if Elizabeth Warren is "an Indian."

She did not claim to be an Indian. The label you're using, as with Trump's statement, suggests she claimed full blooded Cherokee. She has never made such a statement, and has in fact insisted that she is only part Native. Again, the evidence is on her side.

Which lie? Elizabeth Warren is not only NOT Cherokee Indian, they can't even definitively say she is Indian at all. She is more like 1/1024 Mexican or Peruvian.

Not when it mattered, not back in the 80's. You think they would have enrolled her as a minority with "my maw maw always told me that her great grandma was part Indian"?

She only backed off when she got called on it.

Moreover, the DNA test "suggests" she MIGHT have an Indian ancestor somewhere in the distant woodpile. Ask the Cherokee Nation what she has proved.

You don't need to. There's nothing to research. This all started as a political ploy from her Senate opponent. There's not much there to the real story.

Doesn't bother tRUMPers. They still voted for and supported him. Why is the RW so hypocritical.
    NOTE: What fraud of Warren?

The Nation would accept her as a citizen even if she only had 1/2% DNA as long as she had an ancestor on the final rolls. Turns out she probably hasn't so she's lucked out there.

On the other hand, ask a tribal historian, a lot of folks didn't even get included in the census so there could still be some truth to her claim. I can't see how she has a hope in hell of proving it though. She's probably better to leave it alone.

Sorry you don't like Warren. On a bigger note. I don't support Warren, but you support tRUMP.
So she said through folklore, she has some native blood in her and Harvard ran with it.

    What advantages did she gain?
If she lied, she isn't even close to the chief liar that you support.
When you want to clean the RW house of liars, then worry about the other side. Else it just hypocrisy.

This argument is too cute by half. When you try to commit bank or credit card fraud and get caught, it's no defense to say "I got caught before any one lost any money." Anyway we are talking about fraud as in phony, not criminally responsible.

And I posit that "folklore" is too flimsy a basis to assert -- and she did -- that you are an Indian.

I don't know why you keep posting stuff. You already said you aren't going to prove anything you post.

    Here:
    Warren’s Lineage

Warren has claimed Cherokee and Delaware Indian heritage, but the only proof so far seems to be stories she says she heard from family members as a child. Cherokee groups have demanded documentation of the candidate’s Native American ancestry, but she hasn’t delivered.

Now you're misunderstanding the bet. She had to prove she was "an Indian." She hasn't. Ask the Cherokees whether she proved she is an Indian, if you can handle it.

By blood, by DNA, by culture, by any definition, she is nothing but a heap big pale face. And a phony.

She needs to go back to her fake wigwam.

I applaud Elizabeth Cherokee Warren for publicizing the plight of native Americans who surely are lucky to have her among themselves.

    NOT!

You don't check that box if you are one part per billion or otherwise you can claim to be a member of every race and ethnicity on Earth. She checked that box to scam the system. I'm more Native-American than she is and I would NEVER have had the unmitigated and raw self-serving audacity to have checked that box. But then again, she IS . . . a . . . Democrat.

I'll document what is controversial. But that she claimed to be an Indian (not possibly < 1/1000 Indian), and that she has ADMITTED that she claimed to be an Indian, and that she posted her dumb recipes in an Indian cookbook, is not even controversial.

I also seem to remember that even her "contribution" to that Indian cookbook was ripped off another recipe.

    Double heap big phony.

    Ugh!

I no longer waste my time disproving ANYTHING the right says after all the constant lies and inventions they've generated in the last 10 years and more. If I just assume what they say is a lie, I will be right about 85% of the time, -or more.

I cited the story below for you, though I am flabbergasted that any intelligent American adult doesn't already know all this.

It may not have produced the link correctly, and I'll try to fix it, but yes, it is absolutely garbage. Warren's garbage.

I documented it all in post #452. Links to the story there as well. I agree with you, an intelligent person would know all this already. :)

    Here's what she said.

"Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren acknowledged for the first time late Wednesday night that she told Harvard University and the University of Pennsylvania that she was Native American, but she continued to insist that race played no role in her recruitment.

“At some point after I was hired by them, I . . . provided that information to the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard,’’ she said in a statement issued by her campaign. “My Native American heritage is part of who I am, I’m proud of it and I have been open about it.’’

    http://archive.boston.com/news/loca...lling_harvard_penn_of_native_american_status/

    Seems straightforward enough.

Here, I'll spell it out for you since the link may not work for you, though I think you're being disingenuous, as this is old news:

Boston radio host Howie Carr said his state's senior senator lifted a French chef's recipe and submitted it as an authentic Cherokee recipe for a Native American-themed cookbook.

Earlier this week, President Donald Trump again dubbed Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) "Pocahontas" - a riff on her claim to be of Cherokee ancestry.

Tucker Carlson asked Carr about the 1984 book, Pow Wow Chow, to which Warren submitted two recipes featuring shellfish.

"When she isn't stealing a Cherokee identity, Warren is also stealing recipes," Tucker Carlson said.

Carr said Warren claimed that the recipes had been passed down for generations in her Cherokee family.
