Here is my major reason to object to universal health care. FAR too EXPENSIVE. If you want to drive further up health care costs, have government supply it to us. Health care was cheap when we all paid our own bills. But thanks to Government plus insurance, doctors, hospitals and other providers suddenly struck it rich and now health care is out of sight. I want doctors to make good livings. But so many things cost more due to both government and insurance something must stop that.

i suggest a solution. Pay your doctor. Pay the hospital. Insure only for costs higher than $10,000. Believe it or not, by asking the doctor and hospital, you can obtain steep discounts for paying cash.
