Which is why what P. M. Justin Trudeau decreed is so profoundly offensive to Americans......... that his policy could give the G. O. P. one percentage point among undecided voters......... and one percentage point that vote G.O.P. rather than Democrat.... could give President Trump a surprising number of seats?!

    (Vice.com):
On Abortion, Trudeau Has Given Religious Groups the Controversy Many Wanted
Conservatives are outraged by the Liberal government’s recent move.

In America, the majority favors women having control over the health care of their own bodies.

But, EVERY American wants fewer abortions.

The political problem here is that our right wing demands that this problem be addressed exclusively by laws against women.

Yet, we KNOW that other nations do better than we do WITHOUT using laws against women that the majority doesn't like.

You know exactly what I'm claiming, your obvious limitations notwithstanding.
Since I can reasonably take this to mean it doesn't, what the hell good is it?
I'd say it's also very similar to climatology, which crunches numbers in hopes of justifying a claim about causality with nothing more than correlation as evidence.
He never misses; so if He thinks ill of you, it may be He still has use for you. Among the people He has had use for are the Pharaoh in Exodus and Judas Iscariot.

Bigotry has been the hallmark of religion in America from killing the native Americans, to black slavery, to treating women as second class humans, to persecuting gays, to opposing birth control, etc, etc. ANd we won't even get into the history of religious persecution in europe which as I remember wasn't carried out by athiests.

The whole marketing of religion is based on I get saved and you don't because your beliefs are different than mine.

In my opinion one of the best ways to decrease abortions is to adopt better central banking policies.......

Agreed. And i include the 'religion' of atheistic naturalism in this observation.

Religious bigotry is a common trait of human beings, and redefining religious beliefs as 'not religious!' does not mask that reality.

But regardless of anyone's opinion, the best way, as the facts show, is through education and access to birth control.

Well when you can demonstrate " aesthetic naturalism" whatever that is as a religion that has done any actual evil then perhaps we can put athiesm in the same category as theistic religion.

Figured you couldn't defend the idiocy of thinking of god as a human never mind as a man. You are a perfect example of the intellectual vacuity of the current crop of religious adherents. At least in the past the church had some degree of intellectual underpinning.

Well yes, I do find it difficult to defend positions I never affirmed to begin with. Not the least bit sorry for any inconvenience.

I would point out how religious polemy rears its head in almost every area of public discourse. Instead of an intelligent, rational discussion about epistemology, the thread degenerates into an 'Atheists vs Christians!' flame war. Reason is abandoned, in favor of religious hysteria. Jabs and snark replace thoughtful discussion about nuances in our knowledge base.

It is a sad commentary on the public discourse, and the main casualty is knowledge. Folly and madness replace intelligent reasoning, and our society devolves to reality show hysteria.

Oh I am so sorry. I thought it was your post that referred to god as " he". Must be two people posting as " yguy"

It seems this way to you because you have all of the rational people presenting rational arguments on your ignore list, from all the times they have embarrassed you.

    And well you should be.
Which hardly implies God is a human, obviously.

Than the proper term is " it" unless of course you want to rewrite the English language. Or perhaps you think god is a male animal?

    Shirley you jest. :)

Russia? Cambodia? China? Atheistic naturalism has been the official state religion in many countries/movements, especially in recent history.

Thanks for admitting that I win! Guess you won't be referring to god as " he" in the future assuming of course you are capable of learning from your past errors.

Oh, that is just the phony narrative..

"Christianity is religion! Atheism is science!"

Those are just labels to promote narratives.. propaganda memes to obfuscate, rather than enlighten.

You know this, and i have clarified my definitions repeatedly, yet you still pound the drum of phony narratives.

    ..another proof of progressive Indoctrination.

Nobody said Christianity is a religion and athiesm is a science. Pathetic that when you can't actually respond to what is posted you have to make stuff up. Now if you want to actually respond to my post and demonstrate why you think Communism is a religion that might actually represent a contribution to the discussion at hand. But that of course might be harder for you than pretending to reply to something I didn't even say.
