I've been living the life under crony capitalism going on my entire life now, nothing new.

The rest of you have far more to lose with the disintegration of the economy than I do, it's a liberating feeling when you have nothing to lose and everything to gain by comparison.

Social capitalism is the future as crony - capitalism will meet its own demise soon enough. Enjoy these last days of relative stability while you still can because the future is instability and chaos, you reap what you sew.

I'm just an observing spectator watching the rest of the world crumble all around me, I can't wait to be active in the new era that is fast approaching for us all in making right all the wrongs of our past and present.

Western civilization needs strong leadership to protect it, save it intact, and make it prosper not a bunch of sniveling corruptible old men on their death beds.

You have more to loose then most :)

    Nonsense.
I have worked full time jobs under EVERY president since Ford! I suppose if I were married to the internet all day I may have been in the same boat as many like yourself.

Another thing that might be a defining factor, I was never worried about relocation! I followed good jobs where ever they were, most young folks today are barn sour, and never want to leave familiar surrounding..

Boomer this isn't the 1970's, wake up and smell the dead roses.

The only thing I have to lose is my life, if you can call this futile exercise living.

Personally I look forward to the day when everybody's savings, pensions, and retirement is wiped out overnight because they'll finally return back to reality instead of dwelling in their gated la-la land.

And I can still in a moments notice go back to work for top wages at full time.. Why, because I don't subscribe to failure, it's not an option now or any time in my life :)

See where your philosophy has gotten you, enjoy the fruits of your labor brah, it's all on you :)

So, when everybody adopts Socialism, quits working, and sits on their lazy asses with their hands out, who is going to give them their 'handout-welfare'...? Oh, here he comes -- Big Brother's back! :cheerleader:

I think socialism would be good for the USA. Obesity is a big problem, so why not try starvation for a while?

Entirely fallacious post, there wasn't very much idleness at all during the Third Reich. Everybody was working in almost full employment.

I do not at all praise laziness, quite the contrary.

    Epic fail concerning argument.

Yes yes, the poor victim of their own unwillingness to do the things it took to succeed :) Your Bio states 33yo, well 13 years ago I was working full time for just under $68 DPH and the plant was hiring.

    Where were you :)

Well that's how majority of the United States works anymore given that meritocracy exists no more in the United States.

It's all about who you know and that you had help from others...

“What I said back then [1992] is that one of the problems with modern democracy is that it provides peace and prosperity but people want more than that… liberal democracies don’t even try to define what a good life is, it’s left up to individuals, who feel alienated, without purpose, and that’s why joining these identity groups gives them some sense of community.”

I wonder what sorts of identity groups he has in mind? Maybe groups that feature funny hats and catchy slogans? Groups led by charismatic leaders full of fantastic boasts and promises?

Well there you have it bro! The buck stopped with you, the blame game just ended with the admission..

I can promise you one thing I have learned, poor people don't hire and do one is going to go knocking door to door looking for employee's!

Although there is one exception, I did get a six month stint on a rig while sipping rye whiskey in a titty bar once!

I have heard all these arguments from people your age that live in delusional fantasy land concerning the alleged wonderful and great economic environment of the United States before. I'm a shut in because I'm dirt poor and as popular culture of the United States dictates I am the scum of the earth, worthless, or not worthy of the air that I'm breathing. I'm just an insignificant corporate peasant or serf working for me corporate lords.....

I'm not worried at all however, I work part time, pay my taxes, and largely take care of my own expenses. In the next two years I'll be attempting to go back to school or the United States economy collapses and world war III commences in which case I'll become a counter revolutionary in insurrection. I like to see the silver lining and opportunity in everything.
