I tend to agree with you. These bombs would certainly intimidate me.

What I was pointing to is that the definition of terrorist and terrorism includes intimidation in pursuit of political aims.

Going by that accepted definition, I can certainly point to significant acts of terrorism being encouraged by a certain group of leaders who are part of a certain political party that can be found by turning left at the end of the hall.

Calling whoever this freak of nature is a terrorist, and I get why, rather than a certifiable mental case, may be the wrong thing to do.
