49% in a Texas Senate race is incredible for any Democrat. It’s only a matter of time before Texas comes to it’s senses and quits voting for creeps like Cruz and Gohmert. I am very proud of the Irish kid. Looks like Russian Stooge deluxe Rohrbacher might go down too. Katy Hill also has a slight lead against Steve Knight in my once solid red district. Duncan Hunter might be legislating from Federal Prison. All in all, looks like a pretty good night for the Dems. Now Trump lackeys like Nunez, Jordan, Gohmert and the rest can only sit there jerking each other off instead of blocking and sabotaging legitimate investigations into this slimy and corrupt Trump administration.
When Blue pretty much only gained seats in the house cause so many republicans retired, I can't really say they did well. If those republicans didn't retire, and the normal incumbent reelection happened at 95%, then the house would still be Republican. But those who retired proved to be nothing more than RINOs and got to stepping.
