What we learned is Republicans didn't need barf bags, and Democrats are socialists.

He is "Schifty" because he does not crawl on his belly across the WH lawn like a slimely slug that the Nunes has proven to be.

But it ain't going to happen ... sane ... Christian ... whatevs
Your "utter fantasies" can't be fulfilled by a lame duck House. So unless Trump's old tax returns round out your Santa's list to House (D)'s ... there won't be much Chrismas joy in your future. "The party of NO" ring any bells? :confuse:

Technically that is where it belongs and should be moved BUT that means all of this type of a thread should be. There should be consistency.

Heaven might be able to provide Medicare for all but not the US government. You are dreaming.

And what does the House plan to do about it?

He's Schiffty because that's what sewer worms do, they schift from one turd to the other. That punk used to represent my district before I moved. Once the Dems gerrymandered his district to make it a one party safe, the spineless little man/child has brown nosed his way to power.

I hope he goes full monty with his manic obsessions. I have a sense the electorate has reached the breaking point on all this partisanship and his potential antics could have a less than desirable impact for Dems on 2020.

I was waiting from someone to throw this one out.

I find it to be Uber hypocritical of the right to even try to claim this. This is how the right got the power they have today, was by all theses fake investigations, that were by design to hurt the left. The rigth spent 4 years destroying Hillary’s reputation and it worked. They found NOTHING on her, yet they made her a “bad candidate” who couldn’t win the election.

Now with that said, I do think the country is a little tired of the division, and needs to be brought together, but we have no leadership at the moment who is even willing to try to accomplish this, so IMHO, the division in this country will get worse before it gets better. And the dems now control the house, where all the investigations happen. SO they will spend the next 2 years doing everything in their power to keep Trump in check, and/or to take him down.

There ARE some things that they will do that I really do believ have been abdicated by the right for the last 2 years. And the main one is to investigate the corruption of many of Trumps cabinet members. These guys have been spending money like its water, buying themselves $10,000 doors, and $100,000 paintings etc. THIS needs to be investigated. The right never started one ethics investigation of any of that corruption.

It will be interesting to see if they try to go after Trumps taxes. He will fight that like their is no tomorrow. And I think of they do, that might create a constitutional crisis in this country. Because Trump will not give them up. That being said, the left needs to have a very good, verifiable reason to get them. They need to have evidence of a possible crime to get them, becuase if they go on a fishing expidition, i really don’t think the american people will stand for that

The economy has been living on borrowed time for a very long time now. We are way OVERDUE for a recession and all the signs are signalling that it will begin soon. Needless to say the BLOTUS and the GOP will blame the Dems but that is not going to matter when it comes to 2020 since it is a Presidential election year.

Yeah, but forcing people to believe and punishing them for not, is not a Christian tenet. If people have good jobs, they don't need Socialised Medicine for all.

Short and sweet, I agree. I think in the senate we seen the Kavanaugh effect. Where a nay vote by incumbent Democratic senators ignored and went against the wishes of the people in the state they supposedly represented. The wants of their political party over the wants and wishes of the folks back home. This directly led to incumbent senators defeats in Indiana, Missouri and North Dakota. Montana hasn't been called yet, but the GOP challenger has a slight lead.

The house was different. Kavanaugh didn't have an effect. But I think when we get the exit polls we'll find out that independents voted for the Democratic congressional candidates by around a ten point margin or perhaps more. It was independents that put Trump into the Oval office as he carried them 46-42 over Hillary Clinton with 12% voting third party. Independents gave Trump a 44% favorable rating on inauguration day vs. 41% unfavorable. Since the house midterms were all about Trump, a referendum on him, independents on election day gave Trump a 38% favorable/51% unfavorable. This translated in independents deserting him and the GOP whom they once supported in 2016. Independents in 2016 voted for Republican congressional candidates by a 51-47 margin. We'll know more once we get a full exit poll report.

Who pays for medicare for all? Do you think money really comes from no where? Do you think printing more money has no effect on current value of the money in circulation?

What investigations did Republican's launch that brought them power? Can you list the ones that did that?

You think Hillary lost because of Benghazi or any other investigation? She lost because she is a hateful elitist scumbag.

You think the investigation of Bill Clinton brought Republicans to power? They guy lied about a blow job knowing he had blown a load in Monica's face.

I predict the only way the electorate doesn't get pissed about the never ending investigations is if there is an investigation of everyone, left and right. You think Dems and Repubs are going to open their lives to financial and ethics investigations? I doubt it.

You're right, Christian's are supposed to do this willingly. So, why so much resistance to legislation that helps the poor?

Christians and the right wing do more for charity willingly than left wing. To vote and force everyone to do something isn't "willingly", that's tyrannical.
