They've actually done studies. The inhaled smoke isn't great for you, but doesn't cause permanent damage. They can't even link it to COPD much less show a causal connection like they can with tobacco smoke.
They couldn't link it to cancer either.

    Contrast that with alcohol.

of course you did, through implication. “get over it,” right? hey some peepz iz gonna drivez on da wac, so juzt be kew wid it yo. i rather people not drive impaired... on anything, cold medicine, the lot of it.

every impaired driving accident is 100% preventable. and there is no justification for it. ever. pointing out this fact does not make one a snowflake as you have stated.

if that’s you in your avatar, i’m younger than you, honey. stoners are losers. so are junkies, and yes, alcoholics. if i can smell the weed coming from your car, you are a stoner, and therefore you are a loser.

you want to smoke a little pot in your own home, fine. like drinking a glass of wine after work, keep it at home.

I have smoked pot. But I quit around 1979.

I have no need to smoke pot. And have no desire.

    Then... don't smoke pot...

Likewise, if I feel like smoking pot, don't have the state stick a gun in my face over it. Sound like a plan?

Pot doesn't hold the sway it once did, now that (in many states) it has become legal.

    No Fun.

should always be cautious of the other drivers, new drivers, tired drivers, elderly drivers, drunk drivers, prescription med drivers, road rage drivers.... the list goes on

    "pot smokers are losers"
    prohibitionists are losers

Except in my and my wife's family, those that smoked pot, especially while young, have had mental problems later in life. There are numerous studies which support this. I suspect this is not unique to our families.

some families might have a defective gene in their family that makes brains that are harmed by Marijuana

just like some families have more alcoholism... to those folks I say, avoid alcohol as they have a defective alcoholism gene

I have known many that smoked pot when younger that are just fine as adult

same with alcohol, though a couple did become alcoholics sadly

"Marijuana is the most commonly used illicit drug in the United States. Recent studies have shown that heavy marijuana use by young adults is associated with changes in brain structure linked to a loss of motivation, increased anxiety, and cognitive impairments".

"A study from April 2014 has found that even light use of marijuana—smokingpot once a week—may cause structural changes in the size and shape of two brain regions. This is the first study to show casual use of marijuana may be related to major brain changes."

One of many studies. Just the first one that came up when I googled "Effect of marijuana on young people".

By the way. The brain does not fully develop until about age twenty five. Use of alcohol prior to this age is more apt to result in alcoholism than those who started to drink at a later age.. Likewise tobacco is harder to give up if the person started smoking at a younger age.

same is true of too much alcohol - that said, take these studies with a grain of salt as most are biased and are really done by prohibitionists, so can not be trusted

    http://eazysmoke.com/marijuana-quotes.htm

"The prestige of government has undoubtedly been lowered considerably by the prohibition law. For nothing is more destructive of respect for the government and the law of the land than passing laws which cannot be enforced. It is an open secret that the dangerous increase of crime in this country is closely connected with this."
    - Albert Einstein quote on Hemp"

looking in a mirror wondering if he would be able to see his reflection if he was going the speed of light..... hmmmm

    marijuana can expand the mind

remember, the abuse is there legal or not, just one makes criminals of those that did not abuse

Typical response when the studies are pointed out to users. Denial.
