I fact I've been very outspoken in disagreeing with those on my side who want such a policy. Repeatedly.

 

"Hate speech" is just the word for "blasphemy" in leftism. Every religion as their taboos and codes, and leftism is basically a godless religion. The omnipresence of moral in it is the biggest sign.
I'm by the way opposed to call to violence. "Hate speech", "blasphemy", "ennemies of the revolution", that's the same thing.
Communist were persecuting people opposed to their communist revolution, leftists start slowly but surel to persecute the ennemies of their LGBT revolution.

 

Quite possibly but I still don't see the two examples quoted are equivalent and I don't think a more immediate response to a tweet attacking a named individual (regardless of who it is) indicates any political bias.

The specifics aren't really relevant. My core point is that it isn't clear what the intention of that tweet actually was. The one that apparently got Loomer banned was unequivocal. Again, they're both be wrong and could both be worthy of censure but they're not directly equivalent.

 

Twitter got loomer: good. Need to get Farrakhan: better.

According to Loomer... she got suspended, not banned... for accusing Ms. Omar of being anti-Jewish and supportive of Sharia law and female genital mutilation violated the platform’s rules against hateful conduct.

That would be violation of twitter because she does harass other people on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, and religious affiliation.

If you was a owner or part owner of twitter it would matter but as neither you or I, at least as far as I know, are not owners our opinions carry no weight other then as users.
