If you are unfamiliar with how a bill gets passed and think it can be done without any Democratic support I really don't see how we can discuss this any further. I will say it is really convenient for you to not mention the fact that this pale amount of funding was agreed to during Chucks last shut down for the next bill so we can move the government forward and just like usual, Chuck and Nancy don't want to live up to the deal.

Denying this (pennies on the dollar) request to help with the project is a clear indication that Nancy and Chuck want everything their way or its the highway. Trump drew a line in the sand and if they want to continue to squawk about how walls don't work, 80% of Americans ain't buying that story.

Trump bragged about taking ownership of any shutdown and Trumpettes like yourself, less than 24 hours later, are now trying to pass the blame onto someone else.

And you mentioned the last time they had a deal - guess who broke that deal? Trump when he refused to act on any protection for Dreamers. And so Chuck and Nancy learned that they can't trust Trump AND you add the fact that Democrats won the house while only losing two in the Senate? They have the leverage to ask for a better deal.

And whereas before you could pass a bill by convincing Democratic senators, you now need to convince Democratic Senators AND the House...what about that leads you to think that now is the time that the border wall and sanctuary cities and whatever hardcore immigration wishlist you folks have gets done?
