We already use a flax tax for Medicare and SS.
You need to learn how percentages work. So you must be happy with that. Those like you earning less then others are still paying less....so you’re a freeloader even with a flat tax rate. Let’s not talk about progressive rates. You might get confused.

However, SS is not paid with federal income taxes. It was paid for with our payments and payments from our employers. The payments to our spouses came out of that same fund. It is no more free than the SS that we received. . It went into a fund which is still solvent. That is why we continue to get checks with the government shut down.

Those are seperate program from the federal income tax

But they could be included by doing away with income caps if libs prefer

However payouts to the rich would go up too since they pay more in

Of course. Any wall can be defeated. Its purpose is to make entry difficult and time consuming, not impossible.

Who thinks SS cap won't be raised.

Fixing SS is a very easy thing to do.

It will require either contributing more or raising the age of eligibility. There is a fight every time either is proposed.

You are 100% right, kriman. The cap being raised is inevitable. The problem with raising the age is that although we are living longer, we are not living healthier beyond 67.

Raise the cap and you have to raise they payous too

Which leaves you right back where you started

Bit raising the age would be ok

You can raise the caps and limit the payouts.

    That will have to happen.

I don't like raising the age but that may be required.

When left wing madness ceases, we have deeper recessions and more people die at the ripe old age of 35.
In all likelihood, your nursing home healthcare provider will be a Latino. Deal with it.

Raising the age is not an option. Regardless of how much longer we are living, we are less healthy and capable of work after 60 then we were in previous generations. Just because drugs have extended our life expectancy, it’s done little for our ability to work later in life.

The wall isn't necessary. All we have to do is change the laws from encouraging illegal immigration to punishing it. The democrats will have to settle for growing their future voting base from citizens. We have a problem because of the incentives. Changing the incentives is easy and free.

Your buddy keeps saying it’s free stuff.
Why don’t you suggest that conservatives run on cutting SS and Medicare. Trump ran on the opposite....saving medicare and SS
and a better healthcare plan. Of course he lied about everything which is what conservatives do with all social programs.
So, we invite you to try and cut entitlements. It will NEVER happen.
We are headed in the other direction.

One exception, We should cut ALL entitlements...for every registered republican and libertarian

    Thats highly speculative

But if we are living longer then we have to work longer too in order to make SS work

I am not responsible for what my buddy says, whoever that is.
It is either cut entitlements (reduce entitlements or delay entitlements) or increase payments. Otherwise it goes broke.

There is no easy out in respect to illegal aliens

Because as soon as illegals set foot in our country liberals want to embrace them

So on paper we could discourage illegals by aggressively going after them here

But it will only be on paper as long as we have liberals infesting the voter pool

It’s only speculative because you’re too lazy to find out. Obesity is on the rise over the last two decades. It’s the primary contributor to diabetes and heart disease , both of which can be managed into old age past 60. It doesn’t take a genius. Just look it up. You don’t work well with theses conditions.

The punishment has to do with anyone who hires them.
It’s rediculous not to hold employers responsible; especially those who supply fake green cards, like Trump.

Well this is common sense....it's true we have too damn many lazy fatties. Judging from the women like the one focused in this thread, most are liberals.

How come you can't admit that walls work? Simple dishonesty? You've shown you have common sense (at least on the fatties).

You’re totally delusional. You’ll find your three exceptions and think the world revolves around your ignorance.

No excuse for ignorance either. Conservatives still have the market in that.

    Punish the worker too

Many are using stolen id’s and all are stealing work from Americans

If they are fined by confiscating their assets (cars, homes, bank accounts) and the whole family depirted they will think twice about returning to do it again

Ah, why can’t you admit walls don’t always work. Simple ignorance ? “Common sense” doesn’t compare to research.

Are you changing the topic to diabetes prevention instead of the liberal desire for socialized medicine?
