That's not the bulk of Repubs nor is it that Republican base you brought up. Besides that.....Senate Repubs aren't even considering the bill.

 

Trump will win this.....the longer it goes. The More the Demos will be hounded by their own people. Telling their elites in their base to take a hike.

 

And everyone knows that Pelosi is pulling a political stunt.

As we all know, any additional funding requests, submitted in the future, would be negotiated, at that time.

 

They are getting messages from their supporters. And that message is to not negotiate on the wall until the government is open.

 

Only ~30% of voters blame Democrats. And the numbers are still trending poorly for Trump.

It has nothing to do with fact. It's all about what people believe. That the Fake News have people holding mistaken beliefs, is our biggest problem.

 

They have never offered a single scenario where they would even consider funding the wall regardless of whether the shutdown was still going so cut out the BS.

 

Their own people are even more adamant that the government should be open before negotiating than the Republicans are on that particular issue.

So Rep. Nancy Pelosi speaking for the Democrats in Congress is either ignoring or demanding that President Trump crap on the Constitution and ignore Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution.

Again, there was a proposal to accept permanent protection for DACA in exchange for 25$ billion for the wall. Trump reneg'd and demanded a whole host of additional hardlines.

 

For paying for trump's wall? Depends on what Trump is willing to give up in exchange.

I remember that day, it was when President Trump referred to bad hombres who come from "shithole countries."

Trump offered awarding legalization and a pathway to citizenship for illegal alien DREAMERS and Pelosi and Schumer rejected the offer and had a huge meltdown along with the MSM with "shithole countries."

 

His "offer" also required a 50% reduction in legal migration, removal of the family reunification process, and alterations to the VISA program.

 

Well I'm sure the written text and a video will both be placed in the national archive and in his presidential library, not much to be curious about.

True, but if the written text says the SOTU is 7 and the address says the SOTU is 9, which is the number of historical record??... I've already been told (and I agree) that the speech will not match the written text (believe that was good for any president)..
