    So if this story is verified when Mueller releases his findings will you believe Trump should be impeached at that point?

    Also, how can someone read the following SENTENCE from Trump and think he has a "grasp of the obvious."

    It seems that all Trump supporters have suddenly taken this position. My guess is that they think it is very likely to be true, otherwise they would have no problem replying.

    There is a possibility that Cohen is leaking some of this to pressure Mueller to take time off his sentence to not talk about some things with Congress.

    He doesn't have a cooperation agreement so he doesn't have any obligation here.

    Not following that logic... you cannot pressure Mueller to do something good for you... I would wonder if the opposite is possible, that under some private signed agreements with Mueller, Cohen cannot talk about certain things under penalty of more charges...

    Trump has previously alleged that Cohen's father in law is involved in criminal activities and should be investigated. The House Committee Chairs then sent a formal letter to Trump telling him to stop as Cohen is scheduled as a witness.

    The Buzzfeed report notes that Cohen confirmed the report to Mueller AFTER Mueller had learned of that directive from a series of documents.

    Is the Buzzfeed report accurate? No other major news organizations have confirmed to date, so it is remains to be seen.

    I didn't say it was a wise move, just could be motivation. And Cummings can't stop a witness from testifying, at least not in a way that wouldn't look terrible for Democrats. I hope Cummings just manages the hearing and doesn't try to control too much.

    BuzzFeed Reporter Admits He Hasn’t Seen Any Evidence to Validate Trump Tower Story

    The BuzzFeed reporter who wrote the story about President Trump allegedly ordering Michael Cohen to lie about plans to build a Trump Tower in Moscow admitted on CNN today that he hasn’t seen any evidence to corroborate it.

    Late last night, BuzzFeed released a story written by Anthony Cormier claiming that Trump had received 10 personal updates from Cohen about the progress of the tower and that Trump had “personally instructed him to lie” about the date negotiations ended “in order to obscure Trump’s involvement”.

    The story cites two unnamed law enforcement officials who are privy to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian collusion.

    However, when asked by New Day host Alisyn Camerota if he had personally seen any “corroborating evidence” that backs up his story, BuzzFeed’s Cormier responded, “No, I’ve not seen it personally.”

    No one said the reporter had seen evidence. Mueller has it. The reporters source is the agents involved.
