    I did mean article 2 sec 3

The speaker of the House has the authority to control the proceedings of the house

But no constitutional authority to bar the president from speaking before a joint session of congress

And in all our history including the Civil War the house has never treated a president the way pelosi is

Thanks to the crazy democrsts America is bordering on anarchy

Over the top hysterics. But then I'm not surprised since you support the other party of the do nothing and obstructionists who obstructed Obama from day one. Laughable.

Ah...I see. So you admit that Trump is a weak @$$ limp wristed beta male who curl up into a fetal position of compliance because the woman told him he isn't invited? What a lame @$$ excuse you just came up with.

The president has no Constitutional right to demand that he speak before a joint session of Congress. 2/3 gives him the power to convene. Not to address.

I think Joe Wilson's "You lie" during Obama's SOTU is worse than anything Pelosi has done. All she is doing is saying the SOTU should wait until after the shutdown ends. She will extend Trump the courtesy of an invitation then. And by the way, no-one has broken more political norms than Trump. No president has been as uncivil - to members of the other party, to strategic allies, to individual citizens, even to members of his own party - then Trump. Nobody can complain about him being treated badly, when he is the one who instigates incivility.

Thanks to a crazy president America is bordering on anarchy.

Your blatant refusal to acknowledge front page headlines only serves to make you look like a passive-aggressive twit.

    True to form, I guess...

The insults Trump has thrown around are 10,000 times more than any other president.

If he wants to play dirty, he shouldn't whine when it comes around to him. And neither should his supporters.

    Insults?

“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me”

Pelosi is using sticks and stones against the office of the president

That's right. Trump is always the snowflake victim.

Stop whining. Trump has (about the SOTU) - surprisingly.

No I'm not...I merely established that he can disrupt Congress. Not sure why you are ignoring that.

Not a peep in 2/3 about the president being able to speak. He can call THEM to session, but that doesn't mean he has the right to overturn house rules. Per the constitution, the house makes its' own rules. Not a single thing POTUS can do about it.

So, he compels them to convene. And?

It's not his house. It's the people's house. He has his own house.

Ironic projection given that you appear to be reading things that are just not there and ignoring the things that are there.

Because you have abjectly FAILED to substantiate that ludicrous allegation.

FTR there are other members who have pointed out the exact same fallacies of yours that I am exposing.

Are all of us wrong and you are the ONLY ONE who has a "secret decoder" for the Constitution?

All I said was that he could disrupt Congress. I have shown that the Constitution allows that
