Why do Cult45ers not seem to blame Cantaloupe Caligula and his congressional scrotum lickers for letting 24 months of total Republican control pass without dealing with this 'crisis?' Why no sense of urgency before?

The GOP had absolute control for two full years and chose - nay, went out of their way - to screw the useless idiots known as Cult45ers (aka: their loyal base and true believers) right in their ears. The truly pathetic part is that the idiots are now demanding that their sworn enemies, the Godless, commie/lgbt/illegal alien/antifa/blm lovin', 'Murica hatin' libruls, make it all better for them. That is damaged chromosome level stupidity right there. Democrats have ZERO obligation to fulfill broken Rethug campaign promises made to drooling, inbred morons...

Republicans could have approved total funding of the wall at any time between Inauguration Day 2017 and the end of session 2018 (including the 54 days between the 2018 Midterms and end of session) without ANY interference from Democrats - Google 'reconciliation.' And yet, they. Didn't. Even. Try.

So, FB, my questions for you:

    1) Have you figured out yet how and why the GOP totally hosed you on this?

    2) Why do Cult45ers seem to think it is the responsibility of Democrats to fulfill broken Republican campaign promises? Especially when 55% oppose the wall and blame Republicans entirely for the shutdown? Seems Democrats are the ones following the will of the people here.

Bull, pelousy could end it anytime, by allocating less than half of one% of the annual budget.

LOL, now Pelosi has to produce after Trump removed all their objections. Doubt thee weeks is enough for the democrats to agree to what they agreed to before.

I blame Congress for not submitting it to be passed by the President. He wouldn't be able to flipflop if the legislation actually made its way to his desk. Congress has been able under the Trump years to avoid scrunity. Even though as the Colorado Dem Senator wisely stated: They have a 9% approval rating.

I still think this has been the worst legislative organization ever. Even if the resistance ends up being justified, I don't think it changes just because we're finally reprieved of Trump. It just means they'll find a new excuse.

So you're saying that the only thing Trump wanted out of all of this was Nancy's permission to deliver the State of the Union?

    That's hilarious!

No it wasn't ever refunded. And 300,000 + people isn't a ton of Americans. Looks like those who wanted a wall refused to put the money where their mouth is. Action spoke louder than words.

Nope. It's on Trump to make the case for his wall without a shutdown threat. He lost. Admit that to yourself and move on. Your chance for a wall walked out the door with Paul Ryan. Deal with it.

I heard it explained in some clip today. They were monitoring the grand jury or whatever and, based on observed activity, had a hunch that the FBI would be moving on Stone, and so they got out there just in case.

Pretty funny (and SAD) that MAGA is as paranoid about it as you are, though.

The Border Patrol and Homeland Security already has. The democrats are staunch in their opposition to experts based on partisan politics and hypocrisy since democrats have voted for 700 miles of barriers and Obama proclaimed the crisis in 2012 and 2014.

Then he'll have zero problem getting standalone funding and authorization for his wall, and doesn't need to threaten another shutdown, amirite?

Spoiler alert: McConnell ain't gonna give Mango Mussolini the chance to screw up like that again. The wall is dead. Deal with it.

Been a bad day for Trump.

We may get the SOTU address on time after all.

    We will not Cave!
    8:16 AM - Jan 24, 2019

    Trump caved.

Trump agreed Friday to reopen the government on Democratic terms until Feb. 15 while Congress works to come to a deal on border security. Open the government for three weeks without funding for the wall, begin negotiations on border security, and immediately pay the federal workers who have been working without pay is exactly what the Democrats wanted.

    Trump signed an unconditional surrender.

In addition, the sixth close associate to Trump and a senior advisor to him on the campaign was arrested and indicted today. The other five are convicted felons and facing jail time.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was heard saying, "This has nothing to do with the President and certainly nothing to do with the White house." I have to hand it to her. You got to have balls to say something like that.

A number of law enforcement vehicles with silent sirens flashing pulled in front of Stone's home on a darkened Ft. Lauderdale street just after 6 a.m. Friday morning. About a dozen officers with heavy weapons and tactical vests fanned out across Stone's lawn, guns drawn. Law enforcement shined a flashlight into Stone's front door before one officer rapped against it, shouting, "FBI. Open the door. FBI. Warrant"

F.B.I. agents were also seen carting hard drives and other evidence from Stone’s apartment in Harlem, and his recording studio in South Florida was also raided.

The indictment contains this ominous statement. "After the July 22, 2016, release of stolen (Democratic National Committee) emails by Organization 1 [WikiLeaks], a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact STONE about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 had regarding the Clinton Campaign. STONE thereafter told the Trump Campaign about potential future releases of damaging material by Organization 1."

Who had the authority to direct a "senior Trump Campaign official?

    Welcome to the Trump government.

Roger Stone's hero is Richard Nixon.

Similar to Paul Manafort, Mike Flynn, George Papadopulous, Rick Gates, and Michael Cohen, Stone showed defiance at his arrest, imitating Nixon's salute.

Trump was bound to cave as soon as his temper tantrum drove him to bray that he was "proud" to shut down the government over his wall that most Americans don't want and that a Republican-controlled Congress would not fund for two years.

With his polls plummeting and McConnell unable to keep his troops on Trump's suicide mission, the hand-writing was on his fantasy wall.

No, it's to see which side Americans are on, the radical left who wants open borders or the more reasonable members of congress who wants border security.

One thing I learned through this ordeal is to never let the left control our borders, because they would let anyone in whether they are dangerous or not.

You know it's very pathetic, why do you all hate Trump this much? just because your queen didn't win the election back in 2016. Do you all not realize how petty and immature that is? Heck even the tea party accepted Obamas win.

There's no case to be made, and this is only a 3 week extension. That 3 weeks is not 4 weeks for a very good reason. in 4 weeks, it will be the beginning of march. Now just who is not going to be getting their checks on March first...

    hint: it involves SNAP benefits.

The RINO's of Trumpery out there on their lunatic fringe need to stop whining that most Americans are that "radical left" about whom they fantasize and scare themselves.
Trump's surrender opens the way for an intelligent, efficient, and effective border security system designed by experts, not a $5.7 billion fantasy erection concocted up by a reality-tv performer.

Which is why McConnell won't let Donnie Dotard back the GOP into that corner again. The wall is dead.
