What other folks who have no criminal record and are not being charged with a violent or drug related crime and I have.

What other folks? What makes Stone so special they had to send 26 arm SWAT's and two boats to his house on something he could have been summoned to show up at the courthouse for?

They don't hate tRUMP. tRUMP portrays himself the liar and low ethics backstabber daily. The twits tweets are rotten to the core with hate of everything not bowing at his feet.
But lap dogs, they swallow it all up.

I doubt any criminal is happy to see armed FBI agents standing in their room, but they should realize, one day they will get caught. Not that she is the criminal, but her husband is a suspected one.

How could they possibly perceive him and his 72 year old deaf wife as any threat or flight risk? This is not even a little bit rational.

Having an old woman stand outside of a house is indeed inhumane. Couldn't have just isolated her in a room, no, they had her outside as well.
You shouldn't justify actions, that are unjustifiable. This is inappropriate action by the FBI.

A non-violent, non-flight risk who would have showed up at court the next day had they alerted his attorney he was going to have charges filed against him. This was all show, with CNN given the heads up, intimidate Stone and others. Is that really the country you want to live in?

The prosecutor didn't even ask for a bond, he didn't have to put up a penny the judge let him out on his signature. This is an outrage but don't count on the left to acknowledge it, they love that the government out them through this, probably wish they had been there to watch and cheer.

The reason they did this had nothing to do with him being potentially violent. It had to do with the fact that they were concerned about evidence being destroyed. This is pretty typical for a hostile person who they suspect has evidence in their house. They also raided one of his hooker friend's houses. If he and his wife were in the house, they were concerned about things being destroyed. They got permission to do the arrest this way.

And, by the way, they were highly successful....they got years and years worth of the stuff they were looking for.

Well done FBI...thank you! (from decent, real Americans who want justice served on this pack of traitorous a-holes)

And if the information were requested, it could have easily been given to them. But obviously Special Counsel Mueller didn't want to take the morally righteous path. There's what's legal, and then there's morally righteous and I'm not sure how spiritual/religious you are, but in those teachings moral righteousness is a better path to follow.

It was a dumb stupid thing to say, even though he was talking about violent criminals and not 66 year old men accused of non-violent crimes. and as I recall I criticized it then as I did lots of things he said.

So what what about this now?

Uh wrong. This had zero to do with morality..that's just idiotic. It had everything to do with the fact that Stone is a liar and probably a criminal on multiple fronts. They certainly couldn't trust someone like that not to destroy evidence. That's what happens to people who are credibly accused of crime...Judges grant these types of arrest orders.

And it probably paid off huge. Mueller's team got mountains of probable evidence against this treasonous, lying clown.

Its amazing to me what trump supporters will try to justify and support. There's just no end to the anti-Americanism and hypocrisy....pathetic.

Keep defending people like Stone...it will just make this whole process even more amusing to decent Americans.

Rock on Congress...never stop investigating and indicting this pack of traitors!!!

Actually, its standard procedure to try and acquire evidence without resorting to night raids. That's why there's a lawyer and that's why evidence is submitted for both the prosecution and the defense.

The FBI acted out of line here, raids are meant for the big time players. Drug smugglers, terrorists, people with armed weapons, etc.

They had been going through evidence for months and he knew he was going to be arrested and if he wanted to destroy anything he had plenty of time to do so. He already knew anything he had was subject to subpoena and destroying anything would be against the law. But again even it that was their worry they could have showed up at 9AM knocked on the door and two officers standing there could have asked him to come with them may call your attorney to meet us there. And then a forensic team enter the house to execute the warrant.

What do they need years and years of stuff for? He is accused of making false statements to investigators the only thing they are entitled to is anything to do with those statements. We DO have a FOURTH AMENDMENT right to REASONABLE search and seizure.

It's amazing you want to throw the 4th Amendment out the window. You haven't a shred of evidence or any reporting that he is a criminal on many fronts and the ONLY crimes for which he is charged FOR WHICH a search warrant could be issued would be for the false statements to Congress over WIKI. He had already turned over his phones, his emails, his texts and tweets, they have even been published.

You don't get to decide what's reasonable.

Stone is a liar....he's openly suggested he will subvert justice and his whining is immaterial.

I'm far more concerned about innocent children in cages at the border than I am about this traitorous piece of crap being legitimately arrested and have his house legitimately searched.

Its kind of sick where some people's priorities are. I truly hope that Stone gets EXACTLY what he deserves. That Nixon back tattoo should be super popular in prison.

lol, I don't need evidence, I didn't arrest anyone. Mueller needed it, had it and presented it to a Judge who allowed him a certain type of search and seizure arrest warrant.

Your opinion is pretty meaningless since Mueller got a warrant and carried it out.

The whining is awesome though...please don't stop.

So Mrs. Stone is a criminal? I'm not aware any charges have been made against her.

Are you of the belief that anyone related to someone suspected of illegal conduct should be subject to the same level of legal action?

I wasn't away her and her husband had separate bedrooms.
I doubt she'll be subject to the same legal action. If she had no involvement, then likely no legal action.

But in the raid, all are treated the same, AFAIK.
