    Ahahahah totally agree.

    Same with Little Debbie Swiss Rolls.
    I eat all the chocolate coating first. Then unroll it gingerly so it doesn't break. Then eat that unrolled part. Then the middle part you cant unroll with all the cream.
    Its a process.

    That is what chocoholics do. On one of my jobs, people would come to my office to see what I had to eat or what kind of chocolate was the chocolate of the day. When they gave me my going away party everything was chocolate...lol.

    That is why you should only keep chocolate in your office. Chocolate has all kinds of good stuff going on for your body..it is antioxidant, gives you energy and it's chocolate.

    If dat be so then how come chocolate has percentages.
    Like 30% Cocoa.Or 60% Cocoa.
    You mean chocolate ain't exactly what it's cracked up to be.
    Plus how do they make White Chocolate.
    And don't refer us to the time you visited :
    The Perugina School of *Chocolate in Italy.

    * where the word is Pronounced ... Chalk- Oh - Lot

    How many here would go back to Instant Coffee after
    living on Fresh ground for a long time.I was used to
    Instant Coffee for a long time.Had no problem with it.
    Because I was used to it.But Coffee is one area where people
    make demands.Like It must be black.Or have cream.Or cream & sugar.
    My coffee has to be a certain fresh ground { 100% Columbian }
    and have a small spoonful of Instant Creamer { Maxwell French Vanilla }
    plus a dollop or 2 of Haagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream PLUS 1/2 oz. Cognac.
    Udderwise ... I don't Give a Damn.

    The coffee I have been roasting switches between huila region Columbian and Costa Rica la pastora Tarrazu. Both are very nice.

    Since my cube is close to a conference room, I keep a jar of hard candy, peppermints and cinnamons mainly. Ever now & then throw in a bag of atomic fireballs to keep em on their toes! Just doing my part to fight air pollution. ;)

    Got siding in one side of the house. Used some 1/4 inch plywood cut and primed for the soffit. I have issues with the plywood decking on the roof. Water has gotton under the shingles and the sheeting is rotten about a foot up the roof. I am going to try to work some new plywood under the shingles and replace the fascia board. If I have to I will replace a few shingles. Will cut my drip ledge on the morrow.

    A romantic (sort of) Valentine’s Day Reminiscence . . .
    It was September 1969 and I was finishing up my military obligation in Fort Benning, Georgia. During the summer I made friends with a local couple who let me use their house on weekends when they went to the mountains to escape the heat. To repay them for their hospitality I invited them to dinner at the Officers Club.
    The dining room was deserted except for the three of us and an older couple and a young woman at a nearby table. After dinner we started up a conversation and they shared that they were from northern Minnesota. They were staying with their daughter while her husband was in Mississippi. He was a combat engineer and his unit was deployed there to assist with the cleanup from Hurricane Camille.
    Eventually an orchestra started playing old dance music out of the big band era. My friends and the older couple got up to dance. After an awkward silence of a few moments the young lady at the next table looked at me, smiled, and asked, “Well, are you going to ask me to dance or not?”
    And so we danced. And danced. And talked of books and poetry and many other things. I was infatuated. She wasn’t a classic beauty, but she was attractive and blessed with the healthy glow of someone who spent a lot of time outdoors.
    Eventually the evening ended and we went our separate ways. There was no “The Heartbreak Kid” plot line. This was real life, not the movies. I never saw her again. We were ships that passed in the night.

    Every once in a while I think of her and that evening with fond memories. I hope she had a good life.
