Well, we send them to our K-12 schools at taxpayer expense, and give them reduced in-state college tuition at taxpayer expense, and they get free heath care in our hospitals at our expense, why wouldn't the lib'***** provide them with free everything else - at taxpayer expense, when 40% of the country don't pay any federal income taxes anyway?

Just use common sense, and stop relying on misleading statistics. An average illegal immigrant mom and dad with three kids, they earn a family income on the lower income scale, the cost for taxpayers to educate their three children is many times more, than they pay in taxes. Right there - your entire argument falls apart.

You like statistics, then look at the lower 30% of income earners, and comprehend that after filing their tax returns, they do not pay any federal income taxes. In fact, with all the deductions, most all of the lower income earners actually get more money back then they paid in.

No, illegal immigrants, on average, are low income, and pay next to nothing in taxes. They pay a consumption tax at the gas pump, possibly pay payroll taxes for social security, and that is if they are not working for cash.

Once you factor in the costs to incarcerate illegal alien criminals, factor in the social welfare that illegal aliens receive, and so many other ways they siphon off taxpayer money, they are a net drain on the taxpayers, and it goes into billions of dollars. And I have not even discussed how they depress wages and displace US workers.

 

If you can get yourself declared medically indigent there is no bill. And if you are an illegal alien with little to nothing, you don't have to pay the bill. AKA, "free."

 

But they're not supposed to be here. So it doesn't matter what they pay in taxes. They simply need to leave the country. And they need to leave now. Also, "undocumented immigrant" is a made up term. The correct legal definition of an individual who unlawfully enters or remains in the country is illegal alien.

1. Shut off the magnet -- actually enforce the law, prosecute both employers and illegal aliens who work for them; reserve all public acts and benefits for citizens and duly authorized lawful residents only: This includes free school, free college, housing assistance, taxpayer funded legal representation, free medical care (and of course "Medicare for all"), driver licenses, etc.; fix the 14th Amendment to reserve birthright citizenship only to the lawful individuals referenced above.

2. Invite the illegals to leave -- make it known that they have finally worn out their welcome because we now enforcing the laws they knowingly broke. They have 90 days to return to their home country at their own expense and enjoy amnesty from prosecution for the multiple felony criminal offenses most of them have had to commit in order to enter and remain illegally within the country. Leave now, no questions asked...

3. Those who refuse our generous amnesty program by remaining after the 90-day period are aggressively located, prosecuted for the criminal offenses referenced above, and then summarily deported upon the conclusion of their lengthy prison sentences.

 

If the dems were ever able to make Medicare for all into law, you know damn well they include illegal aliens, because they would claim to do otherwise would be immoral. Hell, they are calling fences an immorality. They left in this country are brain dead, truly.

Before we do all of that, we eliminate chain migration, and once and for all define exactly what the 14th amendment meant by:

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of. the United States and the State wherein they reside."

Congress could clarify what is meant by “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof..."

We never intended to have Russian tourist agencies undermine our US citizenship by selling "make an American anchor baby" vacation packages.

We never intended to allow any and all pregnant women on planet earth to sneak into the country by hook or by crook, and pop out an American anchor baby in one our hospitals, before our immigration officers could apprehend and deport them.

Along with the above, we did not intend for these women to use their anchor babies to circumvent our immigration system, using chain migration to bring over their entire extended family.

We never intended to take the American citizen out of the loop, and preventing from having a say over who may, or may not be granted American citizenship. Allowing illegal aliens to make anchor babies, combined with chain migration, completely undermines US immigration law.

We need to fix this mess, and restore how American citizenship is supposed to bestowed.

These people take jobs that lazy Americans avoid and are better workers. There are millions of Americans who abuse our welfare system and who also have 3 children who are educated by taxpayers.

More important and something that the Trump base ignores is the fact that we have culpability in this situation. Our government has supported dictatorships in these poor countries in the name of oil, sent unmonitored billions of dollars to boost their economies that those dictators personally absorbed, food and supplies for their people that never made it to those in need. We are partially responsible for this humanitarian crisis and need to address this issue in a humane manner.
