It's statements like this which destroy your credibility. What about record low unemployment among blacks? Or are you going to claim those are Trump's core base? Consumer confidence ---- all Trump's base? Small business optimism and growth ---- all Trump's base? Initiatives for women ---- all Trump's base? Prison reform ---- rofl, Trump's base? The military ---- all Trump's base? The young people who didn't like paying the penalty for not having Obamacare ---- Trump's base? The business previously being strangled by over-regulation ---- all Trump's base?

If you want to attack Trump, you're going to have to try a LOT harder.

 

Yes McConnell thought how childish and ignorant Demos are. He knew that when the Demos only offered another 75 mil for the wall. Knew they were going petty. Knew they put their party before the country. Their resistance. Aka sedition.

Then heard how they wanted to reduce beds in detention centers making illegal children sleep on floor.

Then heard Pelosi out before the cameras. Then all those Demos saying they support AOC.

So McConnell knows exactly what the Demos are about.

I’ve probably argued against you on here before (I’m no leftist) but I’m for less government at all times when Obama used executive orders and now with this national emergency. I am against this(not the wall per say but the handling of this)

 

Again, playing Gotcha is fun, but again he probably has the authority to do what he's planning and he'll probably prevail in the courts.

As I pointed out in another post, it appears the obstacles in front of him are primarily political. Probably the second biggest obstacle is something you mentioned earlier and that's moving suits and perhaps injunctions through the courts and presumably on to the SCOTUS. If Trump wants to "do it much faster" he has to get those cases fast-tracked through the judiciary. Everybody knows that's not going to happen in terms of days - best case scenario would be weeks and months but I wouldn't be surprised to see some cases take years.

 

But it offers a lot of support for the cartels and wannabe undocumented Democrats.

 

Prove it. Criticize trump for one decision or statement that he has made in the last three months.

 

This was his statement during his announcement where he declared a national emergency. National Emergencies are not optional.

But if "do not need to do this," then you are saying that your national emergency declaration is not necessary. And thus, there is no national emergency.

And it goes directly against the legal authority that he claims to have in this circumstance.

 

Why 3 months?

 

The President of the United States says there is one and declared it to be so. So there is one. He has the power to do so.

Please tell how the same logic can't be used to push money to programs that fight climate change? The latitude granted to presidents in times of emergency is terrifying if misused. This is a precedent that any true patriot would not like to see set.
