You do realize that the parties switched platforms since then...right? Please go read a book or two or at least actual fact based journalism.

I've read about 40 a year the last 35 years.

A kook article from the Nation, equating efforts to curb voter fraud with discrimination. They didn't mention the lowest black unemployment in history.

The Democrats have always been the party of rebellion going back to the Civil War, then the KKK turned into the military arm of the Democratic Party, the hippie/yippee riots of the '60s, most of those participants are now in what party, do you think? The Deep State attempted soft coup by partisans is just the latest.

Even Democrats should listen to this interview with Rep. Jim Jordon and John Dowd who has seldom given many interviews.

    https://www.foxnews.com/transcript/john-dowd-bob-mueller-broke-his-word-to-me

Fast forward to 3:30 to hear Dowd's response to Jim Jordon.

"JORDAN: Jim Comey, too. Right now, we have two guys saying two different things. We got Rod Rosenstein and Andy McCabe saying two different things.

We need both of those guys under oath in front of our committee, where we can -- this is how the system works. We can ask them questions and we can evaluate who is lying and who is not. Two most important witnesses."

DOWD: Sean, what we need is a special federal grand jury, instituted by the attorney general and appointed the toughest prosecutor he can find and you call them all in.

I'm sorry, Congressman, the committees of the Congress have completely failed under the circumstances. They haven't followed up. They only work three days a week. You need a grand jury running seven days a week to pull all of this down and all of this together.

No more inspector general. No kicking it down the road. And you're going to get this thing done in no time.

    HANNITY: All right.

    JORDAN: I'm all --

    https://www.foxnews.com/transcript/john-dowd-bob-mueller-broke-his-word-to-me

Dowd's response says all that needs to be said.

Love that meme? You'll love this meme, too.

    Ted Kennedy's Soviet Gambit

Kennedy's message was simple. He proposed an unabashed quid pro quo. Kennedy would lend Andropov a hand in dealing with President Reagan. In return, the Soviet leader would lend the Democratic Party a hand in challenging Reagan in the 1984 presidential election. "The only real potential threats to Reagan are problems of war and peace and Soviet-American relations," the memorandum stated. "These issues, according to the senator, will without a doubt become the most important of the election campaign."

Kennedy made Andropov a couple of specific offers.

First he offered to visit Moscow. "The main purpose of the meeting, according to the senator, would be to arm Soviet officials with explanations regarding problems of nuclear disarmament so they may be better prepared and more convincing during appearances in the USA." Kennedy would help the Soviets deal with Reagan by telling them how to brush up their propaganda.

Then he offered to make it possible for Andropov to sit down for a few interviews on American television. "A direct appeal ... to the American people will, without a doubt, attract a great deal of attention and interest in the country. ... If the proposal is recognized as worthy, then Kennedy and his friends will bring about suitable steps to have representatives of the largest television companies in the USA contact Y.V. Andropov for an invitation to Moscow for the interviews. ... The senator underlined the importance that this initiative should be seen as coming from the American side."

When President Reagan chose to confront the Soviet Union, calling it the evil empire that it was, Sen. Edward Kennedy chose to offer aid and comfort to General Secretary Andropov.

Does it trouble you at all that it is Democrats who were and are traitors to America and have done much worse then what you' accusing Trump of?

You mean along the lines of Fast and Furious or the need for the world's first ever Beer Summit or politically weaponizing the IRS and various Justice Department agencies?

You had 8 years worth of his presidency to choose for your list. The fact that you would include that one time where Obama criticized a cop for arresting a black professor for being drunk just outside his own home - lol.

    Thanks for proving my point.

This Steele Dossier made explosive — but unverified allegations that the Russian government had been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” President-elect Donald Trump for years and gained compromising information about him which had been circulating among intelligence agents, and journalists for weeks.

Would you believe at least some of what appeared in Politico? It certainly isn't by any stretch of the imagination a 'right-wing' website.... Link: https://www.politico.com/magazine/s...a-steele-dossier-democrats-republicans-216921

And yet, Hillary-sympathizers in government and the FBI used this bought-and-paid-for bundle of unverified anecdotes as the leverage to get the FISA warrant! After that, of course, we got the dragged-out, never-ending "Mueller Investigation". If this whole wretched mess doesn't have CONSPIRACY written all over it, then what on earth does...?!

But even that "dirty trick" pales into insignificance compared to McCabe trying to commit sabotage against the very Office of the President of the United States. There isn't a hole deep enough to put McCabe in, but if they find one, they need to put Comey in it, too! The way that Comey completely allowed Hillary to escape all negative repercussions from breaking the LAWS governing national security and classified information is a bald-faced, scandalous travesty whose infamy will be recalled for a hundred years by everyone who ever held any government security clearance!

so, congress, doj, fbi cant do squat with the 25th... the provisions are clear, only two individuals can ask for the prez to be removed, (1) the prez himself or (2) the vice prez. if the vice prez asks, then all the prez has to do is say he is capable and he goes back to work, then the vice has exactly 4 days to offer unequivicol proof that the prez cant perform his duties...

there's no other way under the 25th to remove a living prez...

Yeah, these guys are as dumb as they are vile.

    COUP’S NEXT
Corrupt DOJ and FBI officials spied on U.S. citizens with false warrants, whitewashed the crimes of one presidential campaign, investigated another political campaign without verified evidence, and illegally leaked information.

They discussed having Rat-faced Rosenstein wear a wire and using the 25th Amendment to the Constitution to remove President Trump, and then appointed a special counsel in retaliation for Comey’s firing.

    This is really ugly.

And yet Obama's corrupt FBI and DOJ illegally used it to trick FISC into approving spying on a rival presidential campaign. It's somewhat beyond belief that our Federal Agencies with all this power were in the grips of such a group of corrupt people who wielded such enormous power and yet still managed to blow the 2016 election. Had Crooked Hillary been elected all these guys would have remained in power and continued going deeper in their corruption. The bullet we dodged is nothing short of amazing.

Lying McCabe was fired after an inspector general investigation found that he leaked investigative information and then lied about it. He has been referred to the Justice Department for consideration of a false-statements prosecution.

When he was acting FBI director after President Trump’s May 2017 firing of Lying and Leaking "Jimmy The Fixer" Comey, Lying McCabe huddled with Rat-faced Rosenstein to mull over options for removing the president from office.

McCabe and Rosenstein were considering whether they could secretly capture Trump saying things that were incriminating or crazy so they could use such recordings to try to convince top administration officials that the president needed to go.

These guys are as dumb as they are crooked. The 25th Amendment was adopted after President John F. Kennedy’s 1963 assassination by brain shot, to address the problem of a president who is rendered physically or mentally unable to perform his duties such as President Woodrow Wilson was by stroke, it's not a substitute for the Constitution's impeachment process.

And neither Dumb or Dumber were Veep or a cabinet officer.

What a bunch of corrupt morons. This hatred of Trump really does seem to rot folk's brains.

McCabe doesn’t seem to be worried about anything. Neither do Comey, Strzok, Rosenstein or any of the others who have constantly been accused of every kind of malfeasance from obstruction to treason. If any of those accusations are real then I am sure that AG Barr will start handing down indictments. However again, my prediction is that there were no crimes committed by any of these people and that Barr will do nothing. I have been reading about this stuff for years now and so far it has been proven to be a bunch of Sean Hannity/Alex Jones crap. I guess we will see what action, if any Barr and the DOJ takes. I remember the old Horowitz IG investigation that was supposed to blow this whole Deep State conspiracy wide open and it was a total bust. I bet this one will end up the same way. We will soon see.

And you have no evidence of any such while we have clear convincing evidence that officials, inspected officials, at the highest levels were plotting to over throw a duly elected President and you don give a rats arse about it. Why is that?

McCabe is already under a criminal investigation and has been charged. There is also the ONGOING IG investigation. But are you saying that unless actual crimes are charged you see nothing wrong here?

No, they weren't "plotting to overthrow" anyone. That's just your partisan spin talking. You should be ashamed of yourself for trying to falsely generate hate and distrust of your own government!

A conspiracy to create the Russia collusion narrative and a plot to convince Cabinet Officials to invoke the 25th Amendment, without proper cause, and to facilitate that by having the Deputy Directory of the FBI to bug the President by wearing a wire to try and entrap him. This may end up being the most serious political scandal in the history of the country, high level officials plotting to undo an election for their own partisan political reasons.

Sorry to inform you of the bad news, but Trump's behavior regarding Russia and Putin is so suspect that an investigation was necessary, and the Mueller report will make that clear. Did you notice Trump's dismissal and/or insults toward our allies, and his blatant sucking up to Putin, not to mention his meeting with Putin in which he made sure no one from the US was present to hear what got said? That is unprecedented, inappropriate, and VERY suspicious. But you didn't know about these things, huh?
