Of course they were. Do your homework. And anyone who actually believes they were living up to the agreement should have their head examined. Using the money that Obama gave them and the profits from oil that they could now sell because Obama lifted sanctions they moved everything further underground where they would not allow inspectors access and continued to develop their missile delivery systems in conjunction with North Korea.

 

Paying to influence the outcome of an election is indeed a crime.

 

You still don't get the fact that as President Obama never proposed negotiations with NOKO as was claimed. Trump is negotiating to denuclearize NOKO. This is a process and in the Hanoi meeting Kim demanded the removal of sanctions as a condition which Trump (unlike the feckless Obama) refused to do and walked away from the meeting. The process is not over.

 

Paying extortion from an individual's own resources is not. Using campaign money to do so is. Do your homework.

They didn't meet with a murderous dictator of a rogue regime because to do so would lend credibility to that regime. Trump has twice now meet with Kim on the international stage, giving him legitimacy, and Trump has gotten nothing in return. This is the reason past Presidents, democrat and republican, have not given NK a sit down meeting.

So if the solution is not to meet NK, what would you propose? It appears you expect a result in one or two meetings, I think it will take a few with continued sanctions. Once a deal is reached, NK will no doubt eventually break the deal by stopping inspections etc..

I'm not daft to criticize Trump when he's achieved more progress than anyone else, well, unless I just wanted to hate Trump then that would cloud my thought process.

 

Hillary is dreadful and I don't think the Democrats have got anyone better.
