Of course not. Many of them only believe that for abortion and vaccination. How they can logically justify that, I've no clue... I answered your question. Are you 'pro-choice' or 'anti-choice' on the issue of vaccination?[/QUOTE] Ask me in the Vaccination Forum... Abortion affects NO PERSON except for the woman who has one. It does not kill nor sicken nor AFFECT other people. Contagious diseases do sicken and kill and affect OTHER people.
Giving birth affects other people. More humans on the planet increases carbon. Would you support population limits and forced abortion to protect us all from there being too many people/too much carbon? Dought/famine can kill you just as easily as a pandemic...
http://www.ncsl.org/research/health/school-immunization-exemption-state-laws.aspx ny is currently getting ready to remove the 'personal & religious' exemption clauses... a conundrum, considering that 'home schooling' isn't actually easy, besides it alienates your child from the rest of the kids in the 'hood' with potential self esteem issues... http://www.homeschoolfacts.com/state-laws/new-york-homeschool-state-laws.html i'm pro-choice abortion, pro-choice as an adult to decide for myself about myself & my family, however, if i decide to send my kids to public school, then i must adhere to the rules & regulations of that public school system, and i will do so, why? because it ain't my choice to make, public schooling is a group dynamic and one must obey the rules of that dynamic or go somewhere else, simple really... no different than following all the other rules, regulations & laws of civilized society, breaking them has consequences...
WTF would lead you to believe I would be for forced abortions since I'm against forced gestation? You don't seem to apply any logic to your opinions.
You support forced vaccination to prevent risk of pandemic, right? Is a pandemic more of a risk than famine?
You do have a point there. Especially if it's true it's "not a baby". Those who support mandatory vaccination have no problem imposing their will on other people's bodily rights for the good of society, so forced pregnancy termination would just be an eventuality down that road.
Also many of these same states that are pushing for mandatory vaccination are pushing to make homeschooling very difficult, and there have been some efforts in the past to ban it altogether. It's kind of a different topic, but is of enough relevant importance to point out here.
The anti-vaxxer support approaches irrelevancy in terms of reality. Unvaccinated people threatened the community's health.
Choicers refuse to see obvious comparisons. There are none so blind as those who will not see. You really have to compartmentalize abortion to be mentally okay with it.
Yeah, not like a pregnant woman trying to prematurely get un-pregnant doesn't threaten anything. Honestly, what are the chances someone who's not vaccinated is going to lead to a big problem? Now compare that to an abortion where we know what's going to happen.
No, once again you mistake degree for similarity of kind. What we know is not the deciding point. The deciding point is no anti-vaxxer has the right to threaten the health of the community.
I had measles, was quarantined for a couple weeks, went back to school -- it wasn't fun but it was hardly a serious, deadly disease. Probably three fourths of the kids in school had it, maybe more. None of them were serious cases. Everybody shook it off. I guess there were a few deaths here and there but not close by. The cod liver oil forced down me was worse than the disease. Poor kids like me didn't go to the doctor but every Moms knew what it was.
Someone not having their child vaccinated could cause your child to end up with polio and be crippled for like. Someone having an abortion has no impact on your life whatsoever. Why do you INSIST on trying to IMPOSE your beliefs on others when there is no impact on you?
Somehow I suspect most of those in favor of forced vaccination don't have any problem with undocumented & illegal immigration that brings disease in.
Why aren't you including all the individual sperm as part of the community given that illogical inanity?
