    Except E verify is certainly not a fail safe program. We can just compile the list of visa expirations, pass a law that has a mandatory prison sentence for anyone on an expired visa and give them 12 months to leave the country and then go start rounding them up.

    So what, the lame "if we can't stop all illegal immigration we should not try to stop what we can" argument again? That's the best you got. And the experts disagree about whether barriers help stop illegal immigration, your baseless uniformed postings do not trump them.

    English IS the official language of Louisiana and was made so as a condition to admittance to the Union. They teach ENGLISH in ALL SCHOOLS, English is the first language. They do not have solely Cajun French speaking schools nor teach Cajun French as a first language.

    it's the best system we have currently. There are no perfect solutions.
    That is certainly an option. But until we stop them from WANTING to come here, we are pissing in the wind. Only way to stop them from wanting to come here, is by making it virtually impossible for them to earn a living.
