It doesn't have much authority, because "some" countries are able to use their veto power to stop whatever about the entire world has agrees upon all along. So it's obvious that the UN aint no farce. The farce is, when a country who claims to be the pinnacle of democracy, spreading that freedom around the world and whatever, uses it's undemocratic legal power to frustrate the longest conflict of the world to never end. What is left, is an endless stream of condemnations against the country that goes forth ethnic cleansing around, trashing the Geneva Conventions it promised to uphold.

Since it calls Israel to act according to the Geneva Conventions and a peaceful 2 state solution. 2) There are resolutions made against what Hamas does. Your previous claim is just parroting what pro ethnic cleansing Israeli Jews want. Netanyahu's party or government is also not singled out in any UN resolution that I know off.
