You are a one trick pony. :) No offense I admire your tenacity.

Good luck but I think you are making it harder than it needs to be.

Most folks who get stuff for free don't pay income taxes from which the free stuff is derived. What's your point again?

It's not difficult at all. Indeed, its decidedly straight forward, as indicated by my post.

OH? you volunteer to be a citizen? And yes laws are compulsory in society. Capitalism has a compulsory nature as well, it just puts the emphasis of different compulsions. And the hybrid economic model of all advanced economies are the evidence.

they pay all kinds of other taxes. AND they also generate economic activity that generates profits for business.

There ain't no such thing as a free lunch.

Dude the former Soviet Union's black market in consumer goods of every sort was vastly larger in comparison to the above ground economy than it has ever been in the US.

Capitalism out-trumps state capitalism? Super! Give yourself a team point.

Technically there is, given non-excludability and non-rivalry in consumption characteristics of public goods

It's actually basic economics and the reason why public provision is crucial.

Wrong capitalism trumps state socialism. I like how the people pushing socialism now, decided to change the definition after it became clear their original ideas didn't work.

State socialism certainly won't work. As illustrated by Hayek, its simply impossible to mimic the Walrasian Auctioneer. Of course market socialism has since moved on and adapted, making the socialist calculation debate irrelevant.

I like how you said government control of production is the farthest thing from efficient one can get, then said you'd like the government to control the production of health care, food, and housing.

    Sounds about right.

You channeled AOC very efficiently there.

Which means what? Ok, so they might. But, none of those proceeds are being used to provide them their free stuff, is it? And if they aren't contributing to those general funds that supply them, those returned services are free. Period.

    LMAO.

    Bullshit.

Most programs from which these people benefit are federal, and many of these same people pay no federal income tax.

Local taxes do not validate the point that these ARE getting a free lunch.

NOne of them are socialist? They are basically capitalist systems with a few social safety net features attached.

That's what I thought as well. I posted it because I'm not understanding why folks are worried about 'socialists' taking over the US. Soooo many references to Venezuela, when the comparison is more likely to one of the countries in the post.

If you expect me to give you an assessment of the macro economic systems of 29 countries, when you evidently don't have a clue, you get another expect.
