    Read and refute Haskin's book. It's detailed and fully referenced. You will learn what the reforms were, how many people got jobs, and what the success stats are.

    My point is, for those not smart enough to figure it out!, is that a conservative city (as you describe it) like Indianapolis...has a HIGHER rate of poverty than a liberal one like New York City.

    So does Cincinnati...another conservative city.

    Much more affordability though, so you're still better off being poor in Cinci and Indy.

    NYC has "working homeless". People who work 40+ hours/week and still can't afford housing.

    Trust me, there's no such thing in Indy.

    I know people on the far left that get free food, free housing, free phone service, discounted utility bills, etc. I pay 100% for everything and they end up with more money at the end of the month than I have. Take your blinders off.

    Where I'm at, the real world looks like a black guy handcuffed to a stretcher in the ER, tweaked out of his gourd and painting the walls with his own blood.

    That's what my real world looked like before I even had breakfast this morning.
