Question about climate change

Too funny. Now educate yourself by reading “Inconvenient Facts”. It’s a book. Alternatively please explain why the historical record shows no correlation between global warming and cooling and atmospheric CO2 concentration. Actually reading the book which is fully referenced with peer reviewed papers including NOAA publications will make everything clear to you.

You continue to claim that CO2 is the global warming control knob. The entire Holocene and indeed the entire natural history of the earth shows no substantiation for that claim. Amazing.

 

No I do not....you keep claiming I do which does not make it any more accurate. I do however understand that CO2 is a greenhouse gas that does affect global temperatures and has increased relatively quickly in the last century. I also understand that we humans are a primary cause of that increase and continue to do so. I also recognize that many other factors are in play and we now need to be concerned about Methane release as well....Simply put I see this as a negative trend leading to positive feedback. Truth be told though...I will be dead before it gets bad anyway, so I do not much care either way.

 

Temperature has increased more rapidly in other warm periods of the Holocene and has reached higher temperatures than it is today. You do understand that the most abundant greenhouse gas is water vapor and that the alarmist argument is that increased CO2 results in warmer temperatures and more water vapor including clouds in the atmosphere. Clouds however both reflect and insulate. Climate models do not take reflection into account.

So how much of global warming is due to the CO2 increase ??

Who denies AGW ?? Human CO2 emissions certainly contribute to global warming but CO2 concentration is not the control knob alarmists claim it is. The entire natural history of the earth shows no correlation of CO2 concentration to global temperature. Produce anything by NASA that proves that claim.
