Nationalists can be patriotic. Nationalists believe their nation is superior to others, which I do believe. It has nothing to do with race, unless you are from a nation made up of a single race. We are not like that. We are made up of all races. So, I’m afraid you are wrong. To be a nationalist and an American, you cannot be racist. That would be a white supremacist. Now, if you are nationalist and from say, Finland, then it is possible to be nationalist and racist, because the overwhelming majority is a single race, although that does not necessarily mean that all Finnish nationalists are racist.
